Re shadow work: It's called "shadow" not because it's bad, but because it's hidden. We think those things are bad, so we push them away. Shadow work is doing the work of facing those things we want to hide, accepting them, and integrating them into ourselves so we could love ourselves better and more wholly.

I would add... if you realize you're autistic, and embrace your autism, and love yourself as is because you're actually a "kick-*ss neurodivergent" and aren't instead a "failed neurotypical," you've empowered yourself. And realizing that being on the spectrum is not a disease but a condition; it's a different operating system. People shade it with helpful or detrimental meaning. Everything is a label---wealthy, poor, male, female, etc. It's how you feel about the label that matters. The rest of the message? 💯!! One of my favorite channels... ❤❤
