I suppose it just came down to Tarkin cutting funding to project necromancer really, and Pabu in itself just simply wasn't worth the empire's resources to occupy full time. Much easier to send the initial message of fuck around and find out and not show up again unless they cause further trouble. Also to be fair, the empire aren't always the smartest bunch, so hiding in the exact same spot does seem like a sound idea there. I mean one x wing took down the fucking death star and they still hired the same guy as the architect for the next one! I mean who does that?!

@@user-xx6vy9ri8p I guess the Empire might be Carnitarians then lol. joking aside, i was having a look back and i'm pretty sure Hemlocks Tantiss division + Rampart (Falsified Report to Tarkin in Season 2 covering up them being alive) were the only ones aware Clone Force 99 were still even out there, particularly about being based on Pabu in Hemlock's case. With Hemlock's operations being highly classified, i'd imagine where he sent his resources was also that way, i.e. sending the assassin and some of his fleet to Pabu. Basically to put a long point short, Clone Force 99's alive status and hideout died with Hemlock and Rampart.

So basically unless any low ranking 'alive' assets of Hemlock's operation wanna pipe up about CF-99 or Pabu, that's where it cuts off, but tbh i think after seeing most of my fellow soldiers and some highly skilled assassins get murdered by some rogue clones, i don't think i'd wanna be going near CF-99 anytime soon
