This is one of my favorite old school movies. But watching it as an adult definitely made me give her the side eye lol. He was supposed to the Caribbean boo thang, not a permanent situation 😂 I also read the book too before I saw the movie and in the book her friend had already passed away prior to her going to Jamaica. I thought it was cool that they added her character in the movie.

@@thecorporateblackgirl2129 wait really? Wow so in the book Delilah had already passed? 🤔 yes that was cool they added her because Whoopi brought that extra spice and comedy to the film. Also yes there’s no reason to try and make a 20 year old your man and you’re in your 40s with a child and get mad because he’s acting his age lol. 😂 thank you for watching ❤️
