People forget quickly. Even after being eliminated last year steph is 99-48 in playoff games and like 23-5 in playoff series. He isnt just chucking threes. Dude proves you can get buckets without being big, foul baiting or any complaining. Just living and dying by the shot.

Let's not forget that the Warriors team evaluation in 2009 Steph's rookie year was worth $315 million. Today in 2024 the team is worth $8.2 BILLION making it the second most valuable sports franchise in all of sports second only to the Dallas Cowboys. That man made alot of people disgustingly rich.

@@pickle_soup160I disagree!! I Do not understand how you make it WORSE by ADDING another thrilling element- the frequency of the long-range shot! People still drive… people still dunk … but now they also shoot long-range frequently! That makes the game less Predictable, makes defense much more complicated, and ADDS a skill that most players now need to have! That’s EXPANDING the game, making it more interesting!
@pickle_soup160
@pickle_soup160 Ай бұрын
@@BAfan-tt9zl Here is how you make it worse. Take game 7 between Cavs and Magic. Do or die. And here is what you end up. Magic shooting 33% 29/86 and 10/31 from 3. It’s awful unwatchable garbage. 36% of their shots were 3s. It’s stupid basketball. And then you have two top scorers. And then you have Banchero score score 38 pts on 10/28 and 15/18 FTs. Mitchell had similar numbers. It’s garbage. It’s unwatchable. First you have to deal with almost 20 missed shots from both of them each and then you have to watch them go to the line 35 times. NBA has become an unwatchable pile of dog poop. I have not watched an entire game since Houston missed 24 straight 3s against GS in the game 7 of Western Conference. I grew up in Chicago watching MJ. I can’t watch this garbage.
@BAfan-tt9zl
@BAfan-tt9zl Ай бұрын
@@pickle_soup160 You have some good points that I can agree with! One thing is, with the acceptance of the 3-point shot being taken frequently, there should be way more discretion on who is taking it, and when it's being taken! Notice even in the clip above, Curry is passing the ball off under the basket! Curry, in fact, takes MANY shots either mid-range or under the basket, and especially if his 3-shot isn't falling! The problem is players who don't use the 3 judiciously, and keep taking them when they're not going in. It's a matter of basketball IQ - only take it when it's your best shot - and only if your personal average on 3's is at a certain level. If not, that should be your very last option, like when NO one is open, and the shot clock is down to 1! But when someone's average on 3s is great, and they use it as ONE tool, often driving or passing, and shooting under the rim, THEN it adds an interesting element because the play isn't predictable! And as for too many foul shots - AGREED!!! It's ridiculous - and unfair - when it's so subjective, and refs reward SOME players for barely being brushed, or even purposely jumping into other players when they shoot.

andrew wiggins isnt top 5 in any category, neither draymond or klay are hofs, kd carried the warriors to those 2 championships and no im not saying they can’t win without him they obviously did but curry didnt make anyone a hof and didnt turn andrew wiggins into a top 5 player
