I still wouldn’t call the L120 a garden tractor due to the frame, but I still think it was a cool battle!

I agree, the L120 is not a Garden Tractor. It’s more of a mud mower status. I think I said in the video it’s technically a lawn tractor. When I installed the heavy duty K66 transmission, I added a lot of reinforcement steel around the rear end. I’m talking 1/2” x 3” bar stock extending from inside the factory frame rails to the box steel tubing that makes up the 2” receiver hitch. There is angle iron (1/8”) reinforcing the frame where the transmission bolts up to it and everything is completely welded together. I don’t know how much different the G110 frame is from the L120. But the G110 had the same transmission. I did the mods to the L120 over a year and a half ago. That was the first tractor I ever really messed with. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting!

I’ve seen the L120 do some pretty impressive stuff in the past since I modified it, however I was surprised also today! These little tractors are powerhouses, and by that I mean all mowers/ garden tractors in general!
