Boros was originally the "final boss" of an old ONE story called Sun Man/Taiyo Man. Apparently he wrote himself into a wall with coming up with a feasible way for Taiyo Man to beat him, or something like that. So he brought Boros to OPM instead to be beaten by an even more OP character of his. Taiyo Man himself is also referenced in Mob Psycho (just his design) when Toichiro Suzuki went really crazy and his head caught on "fire", the part where he hits Mob into the sewers I believe it was, he then comes bursting through the ceiling and basically stands on it, and looks just like Taiyo Man for the rest of their fight, only evil.

I wanted to give Orochi some real menace and weight. As for why Psyrochi wasn't buffed, I just chalk it up to Orochi loosing his power after being ran through by Boros and loosing his entire evolved body.

We know literally nothing about his past, but a person who has probably laid waste to many other worlds while trying to satisfy his own aspirations can hardly be redeemed. At best he would have gone into hiding to get stronger, but he would have never become a hero. Someone like Suiryu or Garou could become a heroic character, even though they weren't exactly good people prior. We don't see many bad qualities for Boros, but thats because he respected Saitama, however he probably has serious character issues we just didn't get to see :D

Cover panels aren't usually meant to convey new information, especially not a plot point as huge as Saitama actually being hurt for the first time. If anything it's likely meant to be a part of Boros' boasting, where he's become overconfident because of all the "punishment" Saitama has been taking while barely fighting back. But no damage is actually shown, and it's revealed that Saitama was still not taking him seriously. All just part of the cop-out that ONE and Murata love to do where they make you think someone can actually challenge Saitama. Saitama saying that he promised the kid he wouldn't get scratched isn't saying that he has been scratched. Garou is bragging about how he can copy Saitama's strength and how Saitama doesn't have a chance, so Saitama could essentially be saying in either a serious or mocking tone "Wow maybe you'll scratch me after all". Not that a scratch even inherently means actual damage. I can scratch my arm right now with my nail, it doesn't mean I'm hurt. Also just because he mentioned his outfit once doesn't mean he couldn't be referred to it again. His clothes getting more and more torn up would definitely hurt the spotless image of himself that he wanted to give Tareo. And that smudge under his nose was there before he was hit with Saitama mode, so no it's not a bloody nose. The debris in the anime during Boros' combo are clearly not blood, they look nothing like blood, and you don't even have the excuse of it being black and white for why it isn't red. It's just fragments meant to emphasize hard impacts, maybe pieces from Boros. A similar kind of thing happened with Garou's shell throwing fragments some of the times when he hits Saitama. When characters are damaged at all it's shown very obviously. Blood stays on their face or drips from their mouth, and it's always drawn as a liquid instead of only fragments. The only time this has been seen with Saitama is from his dream fight and flashbacks to before he removed his limiter.

First of all great video! I believe that you have definitely made some good points regarding Boros' power. However regarding Saitama getting hurt I believe that there are some things that indicate that Boros and Garou didn't actually damage Saitama in any way. First let's agree on some facts: 1. MB Boros is considerably stronger than Released Boros 2. Serious Punch is way way way stronger than any of MB Boros' attacks 3. Getting him to bleed is enough to make Saitama excited as we saw in his dream fight against the subterraneans. If we take these facts into consideration then Released Boros scratching Saitama doesn't make much sense. If he actually managed to scratch Saitama then MB Boros' combo should have at least made Saitama bleed as much as he did in his dream or more. However later we see no signs of injury on him and he didn't get excited, saying it was almost a fight. Additionally if Saitama was actually scratched by Released Boros then his arm should have gotten moderately/seriously injured when his and Cosmic Garou's serious punches collided since even a single serious punch is leagues above even MB Boros' attacks. Moreover when you punch something you need to be durable enough to tank the opposite force that is exerted to your body as a reaction to your punch. If you aren't durable enough then you will get injured. So if Saitama was really damaged by Boros or Garou then any normal punch he throws that is stronger than their attacks would injure his hand slightly but a serious punch would cause considerable damage to his hand and arm. However that is not the case since even after his and Cosmic Garou's serious punches collided his hand was unharmed. Other possible explanations for some of the things that might indicate that Saitama was damaged: 1. The "He received damage" was something Boros said to hype himself up. 2. The smudge under Saitama's nose was dirt or that red radioactive rain instead of blood. So I think that although Boros could definitely beat anyone that scales under Cosmic Garou he isn't strong enough to actually damage Saitama. But of course that's just my opinion. And as someone whose favorite OPM villain is Boros I am happy he is getting the attention he deserves.

Boros is scaled above most of monster association cadres even in his armor form, was stated by one that Boros will run havoc around the planet for seven days without needed to transform if Saitama didn’t step it, tatsumaki will die eventually and only blast can fight him for a bit and convince Boros to stop the fight and focus on God’s threat (likely he had tried to convince Boros in several multiverse and having a lot of allies which there can be a lot of Boros there). Some universe wouldn’t so lucky that those earth are pretty much doomed by Boros’s passionate manner.

Saitama seems to have 3 overall tiers of punch power- 1) Genuinely casual: This is the one you see Saitama use against opponents like base garou or other human thugs. It’s basically no more than just casually moving his hand into someone. 2) Casual effort: This seems to be the punches Saitama uses on people he thinks might actually be able to fight him. It’s not a serious punch by any means, but it’s purposefully thrown with the intent to maim/kill, just with not much effort. 3) Serious: Saitama is actively putting effort into the task of ending your life. If memory recalls we see this TWICE, and once was against Boros. Considering he had put all energy into the Collapsing Star still survived even if briefly, is enough for me to say he’s definitely above any version of Garou except cosmic

Overall a well made video. However, a lot of liberties were taken with removed context or extreme exaggeration (and fairly, you called out most of these instances). My biggest gripe is the clear bait of "He Took Damage". You and I both know this is bait from ONE and Murata as Saitama would recall these instances of being times he almost got what he wanted. However, even when Saitama has stated he might have gotten what he wants, we realize he doesnt even understand his own strength or durability. At the end of both fights the opponents clearly state that there was no chance of victory and even then that Saitama wasnt going all out. So if you want to argue Boros or even Garou damaged Saitama, thats countered the moment we learned even if thats true, Saitama wasnt even going all out. If you really look at these fights side by side, theyre almost the exact same. The difference being that Garou has the potential to grow stronger, going from destroying buildings (he was above building level but im not doing a power scaling thread rn) to one shotting a mountain, to nearly pushing through the Earth. Boros only way to attain stats at this level is to literally sacrifice his wellbeing and drain his stamina. So its not really accurate to compare the two, as the tone of the fights just make one seem weaker than the other.

The main problem with comparing monster Garou and Boros mostly comes from the way they are written. Boros is a generic shonen villain, very powerful, but its obvious that was their only intention with him, which is a bit of a waste of his character, but I digress. In contrast, Garou is the typical character children would come up while imagining themselves as superheroes, someone who can just adapt to literally anything and become stronger. Because of this, no matter what kind of adversary a character like this would face, it will eventually win in every scenario where it doesn't instantly get stat-checked. So with monster Garou and Boros being around the same level in terms of power, Garou is just more powerful because of his adaptation ability. And because Boros can't just stat-check Garou instantly, he will lose every single time, as his opponent will almost cartoonishly adapt to anything. Even if Boros brings Garou to the brink of defeat, he will just grow stronger, and potentially break his limiter completely.

You can watch the fight between them, Released Boros fights Saitama with ONE ARM and Shows off his regen and then IMMEDIATELY goes into MB. I feel like Blast is always overestimated. If you really consider every little thing like that, then also consider he visibly struggled with elder centipede, which makes no sense but well, I don't even think the author is thinking that hard about power scaling. I think Blast and Boros are probably close in power, only because I always wanted to believe that the being that was a match for Boros that the seer prophetized, was probably Blast. He treated them diffirently because of who they were. This doesnt show their power lvl. Boros was meant to be more serious while against garou saitama never viewed him as a villian ( until he became Awakened which was the point ). He is not like 100 times stronger than Boros or anything like that, he's able to reach that point yes, but characters like Boros and cosmic fear Garou are definitely relative to Saitama in power up until Saitama becomes serious, in which case Saitama out grows them in power to the point where they can no longer contend. Basically it means the character can beat another character in one shot. A "one shot level" in my videos pretty much means the power gap necessary for one character to one shot another. Usually a "one shot" is a gap of 7 to 10 times.

Something I've thought about, the whole "Normal Punch", "Consecutive Normal Punch", "Serious Punch", thing could simply just be a name fallacy. A normal punch isn't a description of the power of the punch, it's descriptive of the technique used to throw the punch; a "Normal Punch" is a punching technique used to achieve a specific intended purpose and not necessarily a lower effort attack than say "Consecutive Normal Punches" or even a "Serious Punch", though evidence shows that it generally will be less destructive in comparison to a "Serious Punch". Saitama throwing a "Serious Punch" at Boros' Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon could be answered by saying Boros' attack was so strong that Saitama needed to throw a stronger punch than usual, or it could be explained by saying that the "Serious Punch" was simply the right tool for the job. The "Serious Punch" could be relative to a "Normal Punch" in terms of how hard Saitama is punching but he utilizes other techniques as well when doing it which make it generally more destructive in comparison. "Serious Punch" is described as being on another "dimension", perhaps a "Normal Punch" WOULD have been strong enough to repel the Roaring Cannon but it would NOT be able to interact with the attack dimensionally so he had to throw a "Serious Punch". He used the "Serious Punch" because of the nature of the attack that he was countering rather than because of it's strength, he needed to manipulate space/time/spacetime/some other dimension in order to halt the Roaring Cannon. This also somewhat ties into Saitama's eventual Reversal of Causality, setting the precedent for Saitama/Saitama level beings manipulating natural universal concepts all the way back to Boros. Similarly "Consecutive Normal Punches" isn't necessarily equal to multiple "Normal Punch" attacks, it's simply consecutive punches that are not affecting space/time/spacetime/whatever dimension that a "Serious Punch" would be able to affect. This explains how a "Normal Punch" could exceed "Consecutive Normal Punches", the different "Punches" are not necessarily linear in progression they're all used for specific purposes.

Saitama can't actually understand how overpowered he is, becaue of this he doesn't understand anything about space or time manipulation either. He can kick away portals, and we've seen him travel back in time, but he doesn't understand any of these concepts. He can just do it, mostly for comical scenes, but to also because he is unnaturally powerful. A "serious punch" is just a punch he does when he gets serious, because then Saitama just stops messing around, therefore he uses a larger part of his true strength. Thats all there is to it, Saitama is extremely strong, and that power can manifest in different ways. But "serious punch" is just an extremely powerful human punch, so strong it has other side effects

There are inconsistencies where enemies survive a serious punch but are later finished with a Norma punch, which shouldn’t make sense given what would seem to be that serious punch is like solar system level if you SUPER low ball and normal punch was like meteor level iirc, from saving the city that one time. That’s a DRASTIC level of difference, it’d be like surviving a tank shooting you in the chest and then dying to nerf gun. The only way I see to reconcile this, if we do not just hand wave it as “they didn’t think about that”, is that the punches are not named in order to differentiate their power, but they’re named in order to differentiate their utility. Something like how a Kamehaha isn’t the same thing as a Galick Gun, despite them both being beam attacks, only you can’t really see the difference in Saitama’s attacks; you only see the difference in their effects.

The VGS stuff is Geno's having a record of Casual Saitama, who as you showed numerous times, is varrying in power, and then Genos just made an assumption of how strong Saitama actually is, which is why I also don't think the One Shot difference everyday makes any sense, the Saitama Genos could have recorded could have been only as strong as the one up until the Deep Sea King fight, cannonically after it is when the whole VGS happens, and of course a higher level Casual Saitama can one shot that version of himself, I mean his best feat back then was one shooting Carnage Kabuto, that's it, even if Genos makes him 200 times stronger than that level of Saitama, it still won't be anywhere near his full power Casual Self, let alone his serious self. Well, not in his current state at least :D Although we don't actually know who was the strongest enemy Saitama faced prior to Boros, but if we think about it, this might be an actual plothole. In the fight with Cosmic Garou, its stated Saitama's power grows exponentially, and that this only happens when he is in a though situation. That should mean he only gets to a certain power level after an equal fight. But shouldn't this mean that if he already outmatched both Boros and monster Garou, he had to already fight an opponent stronger than them? Or else how would he grow to be so powerful by just oneshotting inferior opponents? Even Cosmic Fear Mode Garou was only able to come equal terms because he literally copied his already existing power. What I'm getting at is, its weird we don't know what was Saitama's *true* last battle, one where he actually bled or was seriously challenged, where he got to his current power level. Breaking his limiter doesn't mean he gets extremely strong instantly, it only means he can grow infinitely. To get there, he would have had to challenge himself more and more. Imagine it this way: You have to train harder to become stronger, his training rutine would have stopped being effective with time. The first time Saitama started to grow after a long time, was in his fight with Cosmic Fear Garou. However as we all know that power increase went away when he traveled back in time. But there has to be an opponent who was so powerful, it boosted Saitama to a power level which was actually stronger than Cosmic Garou
