Main evidence for Aizen being higher dimensional IIRC was Aizen one shotting the cleaner, who governs and controls all time and space in the dangai, I don't really see many people bringing up Aizen's metaphor when talking about his dimensionality, and using that as the crux of their argument when talking about Bleach being 4d or not, and more often than not use Aizen's transcendence statement to support their claim that Aizen was 4d, because of the cleaner feat.

He is about a cataclysmic level threat meaning he could possibly destroy all life on the planet if he went wild. His ability to pierce dimensions isn't necessarily a strength based feat as it is a magical kind of ability. It just means he is a dimension hopper. Think of it like him being able to open portals and if he wants simultaneously send blasts of his power through them. This ability combined with the amount of stamina he has makes me believe he could cause a mass extinction event. The only stuff that would survive is non intelligent ocean life. This is a scenario I have concocted where no being strong enough to prevent this remains and he is simply set loose like a mindless animal.

Yhwach stated that Ichigo in his true shikai was as powerful if not more powerful than the Ichigo who defeated Aizen...which was Ichigo in his Mugetsu form, so yeah, true shikai Ichigo is greater than or equal to Mugetsu.
