This is very likely from a fanwork lmao Though, that does remind me of a cool doujin I read a while back. Same deal, except after getting absolutely pummeled by two dudes with sticks, she kind of just stood back up, did her darkness thing and scared them away. Don't remember which it was, but the art was really neat.

In terms of fighting youkai and other spiritual or magical characters in touhou, rumia is weak. But considering most youkai are immortal and immune to physical damage from non magical attacks, she might just devour a non-magic opponent without taking any damage. Or she'll hit her head.

Why would the yokai be immune to physical attacks? There is an entire series of canon touhou fighting games, and attacks made using melee weapons, fists and mundane objects are all perfectly effective

@@prophecyking3448 they just are. You can't kill them through physical means unless it's ritualistic or a specific weakness. You can cut a youkai to ribbons and they'll be unphased, maybe annoyed and upset if you hurt them badly, but they'll basically always recover.

Dang, the multiple section having the same part # and the one section having intentionally messed up audio really nails the joke type video. Like you genuinely nailed it, keep it up.

I believe that Rumia is very strong, but her power is sealed by the ofunda on her head used by the hakurei (the wiki itself says it is an ofunda). So, by trying to think deeper about her, I found some reasons why she would be strong without the ofunda even though I don't know how much: 1. It is said that youkai who are dangerous will have their power sealed. 2. not even reimu knows who put that ofunda in Rumia, meaning that it was some ancestor of Reimu who put the ofunda in Rumia. 3. From the looks of it, Rumia also doesn't know who put this ofunda on her, meaning she has also lost her memories. If we consider these 3 points, we could say that Reimu's ancestors found Rumia so dangerous that they had to seal her power and also take away her memory, something that dont happen with others youkais who have their powers sealed.

Rumia is strong as she was able to fight Reimu for a while in EoSD but also very lazy laid back and childish.(latter is from the wiki) Unfortunately, we may never know how strong she truly is unless ZUN decides to include her in a future game where we can either play as her or battle her again in a difference scenario.

Considering Rumia is only relevant in one stage canonically, and slam herself against trees, she shouldn’t be very powerful or relevant. And she’s only relevant because of a fanfic, and how people loves her and think she’s far more powerful than she actually is.

0:22 Rumia is not Danish, but Polish. The town I'm talking about could even be seen on the map in the pic in the very bottom right corner, if not for the fact it is unmarked (just slightly west of Gdańsk which you can see the label if)
