He was taking extreme risks bc you get an amp from taking risks, as per Nanami's explanation. The higher the risk, the more powerful your attacks. We've seen this several times. My favorite example was with Higuruma being cornered.

I strongly believe gojo would have been able to defeat sukuna if he had more battle experience. And I’m talking about experiences that would actually push him. As we know sukuna faced off against very high level jujutsu sorcerers back in the heian era. This sharpened his already ridiculous understanding for jujutsu and battle. Gojo was brought up in relative peace, besides the one Toji incident, he never faced anyone that could give him at least an interesting fight before fighting sukuna. He had to sharpen his own skills and train by himself. And honestly it makes it that much more impressive on how he was able to make sukuna sweat despite the lack of experience. Now stack his broken CT with the sharpened battle IQ from countless high level contenders. I don’t think we saw Gojo at the absolute peak of his abilities overall, just the peak he was capable with given his experiences.

Sukuna also had so much insight to Gojo before the fight and prepared a way to bypass infinity ever since he first met Raga. Serious threat he had to kill Gojo using the hit there and then it was his final chance to win otherwise Gojo would have killed him.

Shoko can heal others but Hakari has faster regeneration speed than Gojo who was considered by Sukuna to be on the same level of RCT proficiency as him, so at the very least those two should be above Shoko. Yuta's regeneration speed is unquantifiable but he can output reverse cursed energy to the level of one-shotting Kurorushi and not die instantly from being sliced in half (unlike Gojo) so yeah.

For the world cutting slash, the main condition for the binding vow should have been that sukuna must be hit by a technique that had potential to kill him, in addition to all the other conditions. That would have been the perfect setup for me. Then that final hollow purple would have had even more meaning and the having sukuna be even more injured afterwards would have further made it great. All that setup and sacrifice, added to sukuna’s insane intellect and battle experience would have been enough for me to justify a technique that can instantly one shot someone almost as strong as himself.

Gojo doesn’t over rely on RCT. The damaging of his brain wasn’t from over usage of RCT, it was from healing a specific part of his brain to many times. He can spam RCT everywhere else indefinitely. Also, Sukuna also damaged his brain in the same way, the only difference is Gojo actually caused sukunas damage with IV as opposed to Gojo causing his own brain damage with healing his burnt out CT

Great video! Sometimes I wonder though. Why do ppl make such a big deal of the 3v1? Sukuna had taken one 200% hollow purple, dozens of blue-enhanced punches, a red and black flash. He couldnt really continue to fight Gojo in h2h like he was before. Thats why he summoned Agito ( imho). I dont think comparing that specific part of Gojo's performance gives him as much of an edge combat wise as ppl think. Sukuna wasnt even intending to meet him in h2h at that point anyway. Imo, Gojo's highlights are surviving malevolent shrine, creating a way around it with his IV and the last play where he outsmarted Sukuna

The only reason Sukuna survived the 200% Hollow Purple was because he was able to dodge it. Even he admits that in the chapter. The 3v1 isn't Gojo going against scrubs. He's literally fighting 3 of the strongest beings in JJK by himself and coming out victorious. People can say Gojo is a fraud and that he never stood a chance to begin with, but if Sukuna did not have Mahoraga, he wouldn't have been able to bypass infinity. Sukuna is one of my favorite characters in jjk but let's be real, Sukuna needed help to defeat Gojo that's why when Megumi summoned Mahoraga Sukuna was extremely infatuated by it and that's why he let Megumi live and then later took over his body.

For the bypassing infinity part, what you're describing is the sure hit effect of the domain, which not even Gojo can just outright dodge without binding vows or a workaround of his technique. If Sukuna could bypass infinity at any time then he wouldn't have had to use Mahoraga to adapt to it and create a move "World Cutting Slash" to bypass it. At the end of the day it don't really matter because Gojo is gone and Sukuna is still around, for now.

idk what the real translation is but i have a theory hollow purple has a weakness. if it really is an "imaginary technique" in the same way rct is multiplying two negatives for a positive value - convincing your CE to destroy your body's destroyed state - then that would make the necessity of both blue and red a lot more clear. a negative value in blue derived from two positives squared. a mathematical intermediate step with no real world analogue. it's waiting to resolve into either blue or red, and its erasing effect just throwing away any matter it touches when it can't figure out whether to harm the matter or its disrepair. which means if you empower it as it hits, you resolve the mathematical problem, and turn it into a regular powerful attack. same reason sukuna and gojo weren't erased, but dismembered.

Gojo should have taken this fight. Fraudkuna pulled up with 3 CT's, one of which has an actual "lol no" button. His 3rd being his real ct "Im just like that" and gives him the ability to create any binding vow with the cost being itd better work or he'll lose, but no real cost.

You forgot to mention how Gojo's regular hollow purple loses power the farther it goes, which is why it didn't just one shot sukuna in the beginning of the battle since he had shot it from the other side of the entire city. (As said in chapter 234)

It said “Although Sukuna was aware of Gojo’s presence, he was not able to sense… the immense amount of cursed energy that was output until the attack was right in front of him.” Plus, if the range was the issue, how come only his hands were injured.

But domain amplification probably just lessened the injury to just being on his arms instead of his whole body
