Do you have to leave it sit and dry for like 24 hours . Cause if your using any of the glue on anything . If you expect it to be ready in 5 min forget it . Shit just falls apart nothing sticks .

Had a crack in the top of my plastic radiator use some super glue and baking soda been about three months still holding good

Good idea with the baking soda! Do you have a particular Super glue brand that you tend to lean toward as your go-to?

Use JB weld on plastic radiators
@shanelindquist79302 жыл бұрын
I hope it worked for you but for me I would have used JB Weld. People make fun of it but I have successfuly repaired a few things with it.

This is just a way to test a different products strength, not about what everyone else has already tried. The basis of the video was gorilla glues claim of bonding strength, drying length and durability against extreme pressure. I suggest not using anything and just replacing the radiator altogether, but if you're already going to replace one and a sponsor wants you to.. you take the opportunity!

I would like to see a video using the gorilla 2 part epoxy to repair the radiator plastic tank

I have a bent radiator tube, will hot glue and this help fix it? Thanks.
@CoreyCoversALL2 жыл бұрын
Hot glue is probably not a good idea just because it will melt again when the engine gets up to temperature. Is it a rubber tube, like one of the water hoses, or metal line for the transmission fluid?

Hot glue 😂😂😂 you’re funny

I would recommend for that project to fix a radiator specially that has heat and chemicals around at all times and out in the elements JB Weld,epoxy type Sealants that Also bond as if it was part of it
@CoreyCoversALL3 жыл бұрын
This was an experiment, I would never fix a Radiator this way.. I would recommend always replacing your cracked Radiator. This was a test of the adhesive strength for this specific product under pressure.
@civhonbmm33 жыл бұрын
@@CoreyCoversALL I guess we will see the outcome of the experiment 👍 I am wondering if it will be to stay bond and hand what will come at as time passes on lol
@CoreyCoversALL3 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it won't. But a good test for the strength of the product. We'll see what happens!! Either way the Radiator is getting replaced 😅

Wood glue is for wood, this isn't Gorilla wood glue, it's Gorilla super glue. You should have watched because it did work! Thanks for "telling me" though.

@@CoreyCoversALL Good retort! Did it hold up?
@CoreyCoversALL3 жыл бұрын
It did hold up! I was very surprised at how well it worked. I've replaced the radiator now because after fixing that spot, it allowed enough pressure to let a smaller leak (on the other side from the video near the bottom) to show its ugly face! So it told me that the plastic on the sides of the radiator was at the end of its life and I didn't feel it was worth my time continously chasing other cracks. But the spot in this video held perfect and never leaked again (I replaced the radiator about 4 months after the video, so I can say the spot I fixed held up in Texas weather for 4 months with no issues and would have held up for longer had I not decided to go ahead and just replace it) so in conclusion, if you just have one crack or 2 cracks and need to make it a while because of financial issues... this will definitely hold you though, As long as it's applied correctly and allow proper drying time! Thanks for the view, comment and compliment! Hopefully you've subscribed, I've got some awesome content coming soon, more fun trial and error video's, some cool big projects I'm finishing up, as well as some different product reviews! I look forward to seeing you in the comments in the future!

If you have been paying attention you would know that Gorilla glue can be used for many surfaces and even be used for permanent hair styling.
