According to the "Financial Secrecy Index 2022" Switzerland has the second strongest financial privacy protection on the planet. USA is number one with financial privacy protection for the first time in 2022.

If for example someone lives in italy,or Greece,and these countries make money laundering investigation against a politician,if they ask access to this politician swiss acounts,will these swiss banks give info? Or only for tax evasion?

If there is an investigation for criminal activities, the account information goes to the prosecutor. Criminal activities are not protected by Swiss laws.

When you say about opening account and the client background that means if the family and parents of the client are rich also?

It depends on the specific situation, the jurisdiction, and many other factors.

What about divorce. You usually have to devolge all assets and if found out a court order is issued. If I devolge the Swiss account, is the bank account still safe.

Depends on a case-by-case basis. You have to declare the name of the bank and the account number. Very precise information is needed to proceed. Call me and let's discuss it.

So what happens with my protected wealth in Switzerland if my native governments becomes like USA or Australia i.e I am taxed on my worldwide income because I am a citizen? Or if my native country introduces a global wealth tax of 10 %? Of what use is Swiss asset protection then??

Mate, I'm from Australia. You still have to pay if you are a tax resident of your country (well thats what its like in Australia). You have to leave your country and become a non tax payer then you don't have to pay. Hope that helped.

@@lcmr123 Maybe I was unclear. I am aware that Americans and Australians are taxed on their world wide income. It means that their citizenship is the legal base for worldwide taxation. This means further on that the only way you can escape taxation if you are an American or Australian is by renouncing your citizenship, correct? My question was: IF my native country becomes LIKE USA or Australia i.e that I am taxed on my worldwide income and assets, of what use is Swiss law then? If you as an Australian is STILL taxed on your income DESPITE being in Switzerland - of what use is the Swiss Banking Protection?

@@IwillEndureToTheEnd well if you come from a non tax jurisdiction and it becomes a tax jurisdiction, then you would have to pay like us (Aus and US). I would want a Swiss account because economic stability, gold digger and lawsuit protection and swiss currency being stronger. I'm not looking to hide money from the Gov. Mate I'm no expert I just trying to help because noticed no one answered your question. Maybe someone from the Caputo company can answer or help?

@@IwillEndureToTheEnd Firstly I think the Swiss bank is a good idea and secure from those that want your cash. i think the bank account should be connected to a Cook Island trust, this would make it a lot more secure from those gold digger wives, haha. I wish Caputo lawyers would get on here and explain or help us out with some answers....that would be good.!!
