If we assume the claim of "complex things must have a designer," we kinda enter an infinite rabbit hole. If god has created all of these complex things, then he, too, is complex (an all powerful being must be complex to be able to design complex things). But then, by your same claim, he must have been designed too! And that designer must have been designed as well. We can keep abstracting to infinite layers of designers, and I don't necessarily know if that makes sense

Good point, but look at it from a different angle, when something is able to create every complex thing that is possible to be created then he must be a creator, and the creator should be different, also we can’t say that the rules of physics won’t let him do that and that because he is the one who created them. I hope English was my first language to tell you everything in my mind

@@baderabuhazeem4530 This does not make much sense, these are claims that don't follow logic but rather just blindly saying "because I said so." You say "The creator should be different." Why? What logical pathway allows for that claim to be made?

@micklethenickel your telling me that the one that is able such a creation and by the way I study medicine and I really mean it when I say that it's more than awesome, and made this whole universe is just normal? Of course not. There must be a smart thing behind us

@@baderabuhazeem4530 based off of what logic? My original argument follows a very clear logical path of induction, but yours is just saying "I feel that this is the case." Please explain your viewpoint from a logical perspective

@micklethenickel You're pretending to be, maybe you are a genius that you leave the whole paragraph and understand it just as you like, my argument was clear, search very will at the end of the day its not me that will stand in front of the creator for not looking really for the truth

Some complex things require an intelligent designer, therefore complexity implies an intelligent designer is the hasty generalization fallacy. It is not the complexity of his bow that requires an intelligent designer, but instead the type of forces and affinities he wants those materials to have that they do not get or have through natural processes. A rehashing of the watchmaker analogy is nothing new.

Sorta yeah, it’s pretty much the fact that we know that type of stuff isn’t natural lol.. That’s why when we see a building we think a builder, but when we see a lake we assume it was made naturally. Oftentimes I’m more surprised when I find out a lake was man made.

Ah. The argument from complexity. Just because something is complex, doesn't mean there must be a designer. Things that are designed, need a designer. We know the painting was painted because we've seen other things that are painted, have been able to compare them to other things that aren't painted, and, here's the kicker, we've seen and verified that painters exist. We know the watch/building/auto aiming bow/etc. were designed because we have seen other things that are designed, have been able to compare them to other things that aren't designed, and, here's the kicker, we've seen and verified that designers exist. How do you get from "The universe is complex" to "Therefor it was designed"? Do you have other universes that we know are designed that we can compare this universe to? Have you been able to compare them to other universes that we know aren't designed? Have you, and here's the kicker, seen and verified that universe designers exist? Just because we don't know how something can come about naturally doesn't mean it doesn't come about naturally. This is the "God of the Gaps" fallacy or the "Argument from Incredulity". The later is basically, "I can't conceive of how this came about without a god, therefor a god did it." I can see how appealing this is (and was to me at one point) but it just doesn't make sense. Where did the universe come from? I have no idea, but that doesn't mean a god did it.

@@HomeGrownMinistries I assumed you were talking about me but I wasn’t sure if I overstayed my welcome talking with that guy on your other video. Calling me entitled, ignorant, and consistently misrepresenting my ideas was just too much to handle. Sorry I lost my cool there. Thank you for consistently being level headed. I still think you and I could sit down and have a great conversation some time.

I wish you would address Brian's concerns, just being nice and dodging the question doesn't bode well for your argument in my eyes. It'd be nice to hear your response on this matter, seeing as you made a whole video about it.

Please respond to these arguments. If you are going to try to logic people into believing in God or at least strengthening their faith, you need to address the logical arguments against your argument. But I think logic and believing don't really work together in this context, as any arguments put forth seem to be based off of more beliefs of things instead of concrete evidence.

Hello. Im an agnostic myself with an interest in religion. I must say I like that you said for one to look for themselves and didnt tell people what to believe. I like that. Also I talked to Ray Comfort before. He was very rude to me. Not sure why he has a following.

In my opinion, there is only one God, whether you choose to call it Univers, Divinity, Higher Power or in any other way, and every religion is only a different interpretation of the same God.

How do you know a creation has a creator.. because the creation exists. The universe has a highly complex design, therefore it has a designer. The designer of the universe has a complex design, therefore you .. no, wait ! Not like this. You just have to stop there and BeLiEve!🙏

And the real problem with the existence of a complexly designed organic being is that the window for the being to come about on its own it’s far too narrow. There hasn’t been enough time for it to happen on its own.
