There is a great clip out there of Sora convincing AZKi to join a Minecraft stream. It was really cute because Sora was still in her 'ninja' phase and was still having a tough time comfortably interacting with her kohai in game. He wanting to teach AZKi to play felt like an attempt to do more than 'Ninja stalk' the other members.

It's really funny because she most likely thought that gamers are a specific type of experience (platform, rhythm, FPS, MMO RPG, etc). Games are really just a platform for fun so glad she found the one she has fun in.

Man, I'm really glad that it worked out for both of them. I remember thinking that INNK was a mess back when I first got into Hololive in 2020, and everything I've heard about it since only confirms that. The fact that both of them are even still around is a small miracle.

Being whatever mess they were at the time, it trailblazed the path for 3D live that we have today. They were the 1st one in Cover doing 3D live with Suisei doing the opening song. And despite everything, it still did a lot of good too back then. AZKi songs was amazing but it just somehow not receiving proper recognition at the time. I still listens to her playlist from time to time.

Thank you for the clip. This clip give us a glimpse of clarity of what happened behind the scene of INoNaKa Music works. The Suisei biography video gave us impression that INNK neglect Suisei, but now we know that AZki and Suisei given different direction during their INNK era. AZki has full 3D body from the start, so it's understandable that her main focus was virtual concert and collabing need a lot of work. Nevertheless INNK also contributing of what we have today in Hololive. Thank you, Suisei and AZki for the past 5 years

For real Hololive apparently has something special I was watching some clips about some of the talents having misgivings about Hololive after having previously been in primarily all female work environments and yet its seemingly not toxic the senpais love doting on their kouhais maybe everyone doesn't 100% love everyone the most but even being able to look past stuff like that and be professional to where its basically their reputation is impressive as heck consider none of ex members even really hint about the stuff other companies are known for

INNK Music was one of the failures of Cover. Either they didnt have the right management or not enough resources or both. That they both persevered and both now have over 1M subs is a testament to them.

Originally Innonaka was supposed to be a joint venture between upd8 (Kizuna Ai's company) and Cover, however after upd8 went under Cover was left holding the bag and was ill prepared to be the only investor. There were a lot of things going wrong (Covid putting a big damper on live events for example) but it'd be hard to say it was Cover's sole responsibility.

Back then it was Matsuri who went out of her way to try and make Sui-chan comfortable at Hololive after the move. She even asked Tamaki to feature Sui-chan, for example.

i imagine that during their innk days, their situation was something like this, azki being the favorite child of innk, and suisei was like the adopted child, and as much as the favorite child wanted to play with the adopted child, the adults were like "no, don't waste your time playing with her and just focus on your path that we chose for you".

Also because it's joint project with upd8 (activ8, Kizuna Ai company) cover can't do much, but I'm really happy at the time that AZKi IP moved to Hololive with all of her song (my theory cover just bought all of it). Knowing how upd8 back then and we even have polka (ex-upd8 talent) joined us really telling what happen there.

Because it's whole package and the whole package is joint project between cover + upd8 and I "assume" the IP for AZKi and all the song they produced belong under INNK name. This is not weird at all actually means it belong to both of them cover and upd8. Afaik from watching her livestream there is no info about whose are having which IP. This is also maybe why the move into hololive takes time, different with suisei which is indie > cover > innk > hololive she have easier time to move.

Its understandable if they're having hard time getting close to other holo talent. They apply to innk prepared to become singer, they're accepted by innk as a singer, then all of a sudden they all becoming game streamer. Its not that gamers are less than singer, its just so out of their field of expertise. Imagine you apply to a company to become IT, they accepted you as one, then suddenly you're sent to CS.

For what Cover has explained, DEV_IS isn't necessarily about music, only Regloss is. Basically DEV_IS units will have more group activities than regular Hololive members, and work together towards a certain goal. For the first unit (Regloss) that goal is music, but for the next unit it could be something completely different, like competitive gaming.

Even if you're even more talented than Azki and Suisei and compose, sing and play all of the instruments, and completely forgo autotune and other such crutches.
