There are some incredibly important and well supported points being made by Jason especially about factoring in the environmental, social and economic costs caused by Scandinavian and Western countries' consumption. IKEA was mentioned and it is a good example. Not at all sustainable in reality. Having seen a bit of Norway, in terms of energy and lifestyles, it's very high and without regular supply of fossil fuel or renewable energy industry, Norway would collapse in a month.
