Israel has at times done incursions in Syria but they've been limited in scope, and very quick in, out, operations. With the collapse of the Syria government, and no official military, they can now do a large scale attack, and will have the benefit of being able to do it with a lot more stealth. Iran had been working with Assad, and propping him up, with Assad on side the Syrian air force could slow the Israeli approach, and provide warning of any incoming attack. Allowing Iran time to Scrabble it's fighter jets, and have all its defenses on high alert. Currently they will not have that same luxury, which has gifted Israel the best opportunity they've ever had to make a move on Iran. Even then it would still be a very risky move, one Israel cannot do alone. Iran ain't Hamas, who are defenseless or Hezbollah who are limited in operational capabilities. Iran is a much bigger fish, with properly trained personnel, strategic defense positions in place, anti missile defense systems, with an air force and potentially a nuclear arsenal. To beat Iran, Israel will have to play dirty, try stoking up tensions within the country to destabilise the nation, use agents to infiltrate the hierarchy and military, and get their bully dogs USA and NATO to ride out with them.

@@amirdiabe Good analysis. There are also the pesky Russians with their S400 radars, but that may (hopefully) likely change soon too in Israel's favour. @@moooo1743 If I had a Euro for every time I've come across this false dichotomy being utterred. There is, of course, no need for a full scale land invsation, unless regime change is on the table. It is entirely possible to take out Iran's nuclear and other miilitary facilities by a combination of air power and a limited deployment of special ops troops. First take out all the air defences (already partially done by Israel), then create full area denial around the facilities in question preventing any ground forces from approaching to resupply or help defend the positions and then bring in the special opp teams to finish the job. Something even tells me that at least some of the staff on site won't even put up much of a fight when faced with such overwhelming power. We all just witnessed how the Assad regime's army crumbled. True, the IRGC is a more loyal, ideological and formidable force, but disgruntled people are typically not in short supply when the same people have been in power for over 40 years. Of course, there is a high chance that interal chaos will ensue and a civil sectarian war will break out once the regime's standing is weakened enough, but that's a whole other story.

Not such a good video. You talk about the weakening of Syria allowing Israel to attack Iran with US approval. As long as the US is closely allied with Israel, as the senior partner, approval of the US, either before or after the fact, will always be critical to Israel. Israel cannot operate with considering the US reaction. Also, saying that up until a few weeks ago Syria had one of the strongest air defense networks in the world is a joke. Inoperative systems with no trained operators does not make a strong system regardless of the specifications of the hardware.

what will turkey do ? occupy all of syria? or replenish the destroyed arsenal of the syrian army in a few months? because israel might hurt their regional adversary, iran? please enrich and enlighten me with your analysis which is not propaganda
@User-jr7vf11 сағат бұрын
@@haha__hihiI agree with you,but notice that it may not be in Turkey's interests to have a Syria under heavy Israeli influence. From what I know the two nations even support different militias.

Israel doesn't exist, there's an US and European expanding colony using the name of Judaism, that's rejected by the entire region even countries that have neutral relationship with them.

@@thewingedringer Iran funds Hamas but even if we ignore it, all roads still lead to Iran... without Hamas' 7th October attack, Israel wouldn't have fought back, without Israel attacking Hamas, Hezbollah wouldn't have intervene, with Hezbollah attacking Israel, Israel wouldn't haven't attacked back and caused it to weaken, without a weak Hezbollah, the rebels in Syria couldn't have conquered Syria as Hezbollah was the main force that prevented them from acting all those years. You get the idea... The Islamic regime of Iran brought it upon itself. If Hezbollah didn't attack Israel - the only thing they would have lost was Hamas. But since they didn't cut their loses early enough, now they paid for it by also losing Hezbollah & Syria.

@haha__hihi "moving into empty space to temporarily expand a buffer zone for security purposes.". Boi they just invaded a neighboring country embroiled in a civil war, occupied foreign territory they previously officially recognized as not belonging to them, shot anyone who resisted their illegal land grab and started forcefully moving the locals out of the occupied area which counts as genocide.

Iran is as vulnerable today as it was when the Greeks, Arabs, Turks, and Mongols were at its doorstep, and is perhaps more isolated than ever before. And the government hasn't held the support of its people in years. Heck, most Iranians aren't even Muslim anymore. Even without a direct confrontation, the "Islamic Republic" is living on borrowed time. They've already lost at this point.

Iranian here, about 10 - 13% still support the regime. The strongholds are the cities of Qom and Mashhad. As long as these 2 cities remain Devout Shia Muslims, don’t count us out. Your bible mentions that the Persians will destroy the zionists. We will see that through until the liberation of Al - Quds
