How Tall Do Canna Lily Plants Grow? | Which Cannas Grew the Tallest & Shortest in My Tropical Garden

I just planted some cannas along the fence between my neighbors house and mine. I have some lady palms I'm going to plant also. I want some privacy and shade but no big trees too close to the house. If they do well I might get a bird of paradise. It'll be my tropical side of the house. 🌴 Yours are beautiful.

You can also add some banana plants, the red abyssinian is beautiful.

i grow mine in pots. so they dont get that big. good work brother 👏

In the ground the rhizomes can grow much larger creating taller plants. Have you tried planting some in the ground?

@@Tropifornia no man. I am in zone 5. it gets cold. so I bring my pots back in the garage to over winter.

The Canna bird of paradise have 3 inch sprouts. I put the rhizomes in a bowl of water and they grew in my greenhouse. The redemption is growing. I scarified caprice, charlotte, and zebra but only one caprice has a root in water. I’ll do the others this week. Thank you again! ❤️🌴🌱

Awesome, hope your zebra will germinate, mine did but also only a few, and a few also died after germinating. Got these seeds from Canada, so hope she'll get something pretty out of them! Enjoy your bird of paradise and your redemption:) ❤
