I mean she just had a break up, she has been celebate for like 6 months and they all knew that so the sexual joke probably just didn't hit, and she's sad like a cake with a joke that you dont even relate to anymore isn't going to make your whole day just after you've finalised your divorce. I feel the same way about my job, I always complain about being tired and exhausted bc I fucking am, but everyone in my house tells me I have no right to be tired because they work full time and I don't (even though I work 7 days a week) but will tell me "you need to get more sleep you look like shit" and "you need to just have one job or you need a full time job so you're not so tired" or "you need to start paying more for this and that". Everyone wants you to do the right thing until it inconvieniences them. Maybe Jordan wouldn't be like that since it's a serious lung issue, but she doesn't know that and can't be certain of that, plus from past experiences working with him she knows how shitty he gets with her when she's not on his schedule when it comes to work (you see it in vlogs and videos all the time). I do think she could stand to treat him a bit better but I can also completely see where she's coming from. Plus she had a really messed up upbringing and really wasn't taught things like how to treat people who are like family to you or how to really take care of yourself etc.

It sucks to see how Tana refuses to accept any responsibility for her health. She's so accustomed to playing the victim and using every excuse in the book rather than coming to terms with the fact that she is to blame for her health getting so bad. Not only is she not doing anything to make herself feel better or seeking any treatment but she's also smoking and drinking as a way to cope. It's unfortunate that she's channeling her anger and aggression about her break up and other issues on to Jordan. Jordan is the first business manager that I have seen be so involved in his client's life. Most business managers and influencers have such a transactional relationship, where it's business and business only. Jordan didn't have to go up to Big Bear to support Tana during her break-up, he also certainly didn't have to set up a doctor's appointment for his client who is 21 and fully capable of doing so herself. That is not in his job criteria, he doesn't have to involve himself so heavily in her personal matters but he does which clearly comes from a place of love and wanting the best for her outside of just work. I'm sure the pressure of constantly focusing on work weighs very heavily on Tana but ultimately it is her responsibility to set those boundaries and take charge of her mental and physical well-being, not Jordan's or her friends. AND also I hate Jake and he sucks. okay, thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Most addicts don’t want help so any person who tries to provide that, will be shut down, pushed away, manipulated and treated poorly by the addict. She needs help in more ways than one. Its more complicated than that... addiction is scary, treating it is scary... going to the hospital is making that first step to helping yourself and starting to think about your health. Not only is the verdict going to be scary or possibly something serious but also the fact that it might entail her having to beat her habit. Like, if she had lung cancer she would have to quit. Even before her busy schedule, tana has been negligent with her health since the beginnning of youtube. She had a crazy sleep schedule, did drugs, was even addicted to monster energy drink until she had heart palpatations, didn't go to the dentist for a long time, and even now is unhygenic literally eating dollar bills etc lol. It’s because the first love she experienced in her like (her parents/ family) was neglectful and abusive so that is what she psychologically has come to understand as love and anything authentic seems fake because she associates love like like with movies, tv, etc. when you grow up in an environment like she did it sets the tone for future relationships and it is extremely hard to break the cycle, it takes years of hard work, therapy, introspective thought, mentality and life style changed etc.

Jordan made a great point about Tana needing someone to tell her how to take care of herself. She’s voiced many times about how she wasn’t treated well growing up and the lack of affection she got. She’s probably not used to anyone encouraging her to prioritize health. Hence why she got defensive with Jordan. Over time, when people truly show her how much she’s worth, she’ll become more receptive to people trying to help.
