I agree that the opinions and ideas of how anything works changes and fluctuates all the time. When ever I think of bigger consepts like our soul or conciousness and like tarot. Sometimes it's fun to think and seek "answers" but some days all that is too much and I try to just enjoy and not think too much. So I'm 50/50 on the first question. I loved how you talked about the basic needs of human. I just watched a video last night about a hunter gatherer tribe that still lives in Tanzania. And they were asked about what is important in life and other world views. It was such a great example about what you just said here. Their number one thing for to ve happy was meat. I bet none of us privileged modern people would answer that. Sorry for the rabbit hole but hey...what's more Tarot than those. 💚 Hugs!

Your thoughts never cease to enlighten and amazing me Hanni! I can totally relate to those times when I cannot be bothered to think so much flipping over some cards 😂 Any and all rabbit holes of yours are more than welcome and infinitely interesting 💚💚💚

Another fabulous video! I really liked this! For me, I’ve come to considered Tarot as a translation tool. I believe we all have a higher consciousness... a part of our spirit or soul that is tapped into a more universal consciousness or knowledge. That is where we get those random hits of intuition or moments where we “randomly” think of someone and all the sudden our phone rings and it’s them... I’ve come to view Tarot as a more direct way of tapping into and communicating with that higher self...

"There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in our philosophy." (i changed the quote just a little... it originally says "your philosphy" but i figured it works better in this context as "our philosophy") - Hamlet (1.5.167-8), Hamlet to Horatio

Hi James, great video. So here is my take on some of what you spoke of. I believe the client and the deck bond and I as the tarot reader act as a lens between my client and the universe. It’s just the way I work and seems to work well for me. Love and blessings David

I had fun tackling this prompt too. It's thought provoking. Not sure if 'hypocrisy' is the right word. I also think its more important that it works than how it works. I think if we actually knew how it worked, the predictability of that would soon become tiresome and we would lose interest.
