i like their logic to get a smaller dog to have less health problems with them yet its the smaller dogs that are generally the ones with serious health problems you have to account for

This is kind of morbid - most smaller dogs live longer, but they still end up with “old dog” problems at about the same time. So you could just end up floating vet bills for 50% longer if your chihuahua makes it to 15 compared to your Great Dane suddenly killing over at 8.

alot of the problem with smaller dogs is they are bred specifically down a lineage causing just that abnormalities and intelect problems or genetic deficiencies caused from aimed inbreeding which yes can happen with large dogs too when going for specific breed which i also think is just as stupid but is far more common in small dogs because they are all a cause of inbreeding for a desired look@@MeridiasTaco
