I miss it. So many good times with real people and no cell phones. I miss the cars and easy life style.

The best part about growing up in an analog world is that all the dumb stuff we did as kids was not captured on video and preserved on KZbin forever. 😉

WOW..what memories! # 64 the lunch line...I was in Hawaii, and had to help serve lunches a couple times a year and then left for California in 72, and pic #74 was what Huntington was like.

GrumpyHusband I remember when Huntington Beach looked like that also. Main St. used to be really rundown. I've seen pictures of what it looks like today. I was born and raised in 1958 in Orange County, CA. Some would say that it was a youth misspent. All I know is I sure had a lot of fun.

In our town we had a Fosters Freeze. It was our first choice to go for burgers and shakes! My favorite was, the Peach Milkshake! They used real fresh Peaches and bits of the chopped up peaches came up through the straw and was delicious to chew on, yummy!! It absolutely broke my heart when they demolished the Fosters Freeze in order to make room for a new commercial development! The new development SUCKED, 😡 NOBODY WENT THERE!! 🤣🤣🤣 Well, we also had an A&W, an Arby’s and the Original Round Table Pizza Shop in our town as well! We went there as well, They survived the Fosters Freeze demolition fiasco! 🤙🏽

In the lat 70's Disco reared it's ugly head and overshadowed many good songs of those years. Coming of the 80's saw the return of good music.

Great times in American history. The days before racism, obesity, the internet, cell phones, t-Rump grifting, internet scamming, $100,000 trucks, $20 hamburgers and $600,000 starter homes.
