I think most of us would go back. The 70s weren't perfect (far from it), but there was a lot to love!!! 😊 I turned 13 in 1969, and I feel very fortunate about the period of my youth!

We had muscle cars everywhere and cruised every chance we got. Now these cars sell for a million dollars! We took our cars to drive-in restaurants where pretty girls zipped around on roller skates and served our food. We took our dates to drive-in theaters!!! WE HAD A LOT OF FUN!!! 😅

The girls were so pretty in the 70s, they rarely wore make-up and weren't fat. The music was the best. Kids played in the parks. The parķs had pools, big swings, merry-go-rounds, big slides, etc. Now, these things are gone because some screwballs think it's unsafe! We played all day long, exploring woods that are gone now, and have been turned into subdivisions. We swam in every pond lake and river. We put ropes in trees and swung out into the water, doing flips. You couldn't keep me in the house because I just wanted to be outside even in the winter, with ice hanging everywhere and snow drifts up to my waist!!!

Cars and homes were affordable!!! Government wasn't as corrupt!!!

1970-80s toyota ,datsun , chevy L.U.V. mini pickups , small single cabs so everyone sat in the back ,but the girls and M.T.V 1981

We had the best educations!!! Now, people read at a fourth grade level, on average!!! 😡
