Geronimo and his men were captured and held at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. They wouldn’t eat the American food they were given. So, the American soldiers asked what they would eat and Geronimo said he wanted peacocks and deer. If you visit the Fort today. There are still peacocks and deer roaming the grounds. Love your story telling & love the channel.

Many thanks Slim. I'm hoping the video is successful, if so I'll do more similar type videos. I can only find so many old Spanish and Indian sites, so videos like this are nice to fill in the gaps and keep the channel alive.

I need to get a rock... Galena is Lead Sulfide (PbS). As you said, it can contain Silver (Ag). The more silver, the less sharp the crystal structure because the Silver breaks up the symmetry. Old time miners like the colonial Spanish liked Galena because it was somewhat self-fluxing - it already has the lead in it. I like your theory about the stone structure. Super interesting history about Jerome and Geronimo!

I just wish I was closer to the area (Florida). Not sure but, the stories you tell get mind wondering for sure. If I was closer I would be chasing Geronimo's and those Spanish explorers path every weekend, just to see those sites. Thanks again

Many thanks! I have a little bit. Years ago I used to live in the Westcliffe area. Back then I was really big into dirt bikes, so that consumed most of my time. Beautiful mountain range!!!

I like your theory, but would they really go through the trouble to make that rock enclosure just to store rocks. Why not just make a pile of ore?
@LowBudgetExploration7 ай бұрын
Good question. The only thing I can think of is they were chucking the ore in the cavity (located behind the rock enclosure), making a pile like you mention. I think the rock enclosure was used to temporarily store the important stuff; food type items, dynamite and so forth. Just in case it took them a couple of trips to haul the stuff up the mountain. This way everything would be protected, in the event they couldn't make it back down until the next day or something like that. Rather than that, I'm not really sure.

People assume the Priests, Bishops, and Pope were required to be celebit, but the early decision actually was: "they could not marry". The Church didn't want to be responsible for wives and children if a priest died early in life, (many did back then). The subject gets accused of: "the Church wanted the money, but, single priests don't routinely have any, "They take a vow of poverty". There are some that may inherit family money, but all things considered, "there's more to this subject than our ideas and interpretations in the 21st Century. Back to my point, when they were directed to not Larry, (I don't believe they were required or expected to be celebit, that came later, with Monks first, then in or after the Middle Ages. (I would recommend a fact check on this for fuller accuracy, I'm doing this from recall, and there vast info added in my mind since my first learning these details. Bottom line, today: Yes, they are largely expected to be celebit, non marry, although they are accepting married Priests that convert from the Episcopal Church/Anglican Church. The church has endured some real scrutiny, accusations, assumptions, and "although I feel it's time for the Church to Update and Revise what was originally adjusted to get the Christian Religion to fit Constatine's Rulership needs, (that a whole other story), but countless are discovering the greater truths, and "if the Religion intends to be based on Yeshua/Jesus and his Teachings, then there must be some adjustments made. I believe Pope Francis would love to do that, but like everything else, there is a "Right Wing and Fundamentalist type of Catholics", and they would react severely. Nevermind that it would be an effort to make the Religion more Authentic. Folks have a hard time dealing with their "Learned Fears, Ideologies, and Dogmas." But it must go for us to grow into our "Higher Mind aka Mature Mind" (evolve) and it by no means requires abandoning one Belief in God, or Yeshua/Jesus, it just means the more original and accurate story. Yeshua was a practicing Rabbi, of Nazarian Judaism, and then he was teaching the Ancient Knowledge, then found in the "Hermetic Principals", today called "Universal Laws", most particularly the "Universal Law of Attraction" History and the Texts, many writings and many every bit as qualified as the New Testament Gospels, have clarity.

Geronimo came from a 300 year old spanish heritage, he speak spanish, he was even christian, because the spanish crown were in north america for 300 years before the english came for the first time and call the spanish native american citizens "savajes".. He crossed himself like a Christian and spoke in Spanish? He rode horses taught by Spaniards? He used Spanish rifles? Was he really a savage? LOL NO, he was a native that assimilated spanish culture like all the americans since 1492 🤦♂
