Calling the archer tower bad or mediocre just doesn't really make much sense. Compared to higher level defenses obviously a single archer tower isn't going to perform as well but it can still make a difference in an attack. Plus a level 14 archer tower has the same dps as a level 4 x-bow and if you think about, if you have 4 archer towers shooting at a single troop each doing 90 dps, that's 360 dps which can definitely chip away at strong troops.

You can't rate archer tower as a single building its like comparing a wizard to an archer(4 housing space to 1)its not fair the point of archer tower is to make it harder for the troops to get in the middle of the base (where stronger defense are) and if you combine all the towers dmg at the same time its good

Ive noticed you just sort of say every defence is mediocre. What I think you are not really considering is that the culmination of each defence together is what makes our defence strong. Like sure, a single archer/wizard tower or air defence isnt gonna do much, but when you have all 3 working together they all do their part in taking out the enemy

Archer towers don't become worse, there's just new defenses that change attack styles and overshadow it. If you compared an archer tower to an eagle artillery, obviously the latter is much more powerful and with incredible range, but nobody is *targeting* an archer tower, you target the artillery and the archer towers supplement the damage.
