Ukraine destroyed a Russian warship with a volley of rocket artillery from the shore: details became known
The corvette "Vasily Bykov", sunk in the Odessa Bay, is one of the most modern ships of the Russian Navy. The Ukrainian military successfully ambushed and covered the Russian warship "Vasily Bykov" with MLRS, which had previously participated in the shelling of the Ukrainian island of Zmeiny. This was reported by Dumskaya, which became aware of the details of the operation.
March 6 "Vasily Bykov" was hit by Ukrainian naval rocket artillery. It happened in the Odessa area. Information (not officially confirmed) about the successful shelling of the ship of the invaders was then published in his telegram channel by deputy Alexei Goncharenko.
March 7, according to "Dumskaya", the ship sank. The fate of the crew is unknown. The attack on the Bykov was not caused by a combination of circumstances - it was a planned and brilliantly implemented naval operation. Light Ukrainian boats of the "mosquito fleet" for several days lured the Russians to the prepared and camouflaged firing position of the artillery brigade. Which at the right time did its job, having worked on the enemy
Unfortunately, one of the Ukrainian boats was sunk (Island-class boat - Slavyansk). According to Dumskaya, many sailors from his crew were saved.
