Caps AHL (Hershey Bears) and ECHL (S. Carolina Stingrays) affiliates are also at or near the top of their respective leagues standings. Bears have won back to back Calder Cups. They are a well oiled machine from top to bottom. Their farm system deserves a ton of credit for developing these young players.

Raddysh and Duhaime have been sneaky good signings too. They’ve really given the 4th line more offensive juice compared to Aube-Kubel and Malenstyn. Dowd continues to be a defensive anchor while upping his goal scoring, albeit he is getting into foul trouble more often.

Something that doesn’t get talked about enough with caps is how strong their 4th line is. Dowd has been the best 4C in the league for a few years now imo, and this is one of the only teams that I feel confident whenever their 4th line is out there

So stoked about the situation of the team both prospects and current players. Ivan Miroshnichenko had cancer missed almsot a full year of hockey so his development is about a year behind his age imo he’s been very productive at the AHL level and has lots of opportunities when he plays in the NHL the finishing will come with time he has a cannon
