It used to be that people came to the US to be American. They were proud of it, now they come here and want to change it to their ways and Americans just bend over and allow it. I am a naturalized citizen and am proud of being from South America and my heritage, food etc BUT I am proud to be American and would never think of trying to create a mini SA country and ways here.
