Ultimately believing you are the source of guidance and take part in others’ personal journey to Allah. • Using the word of Allah for evil purposes (Having a personal agenda above the word of Allah) • Resetting the priorities of Islam • Defining your own idea of a ‘good character’ • Misjudging people based on their presentation. The more I listen to his Khutbas, the more my appreciation for the Quran and Arabic language in general increases. How beautiful and eloquent the Arabic language is, that a few words can have such a deep and profound meaning, and on top of that, the best of Arabic literature is the Quran itself! Thank you for the kind words. It's nice to hear the word of the Quran! I know that with the Bible some take a bit from one place and I bit from another for their own good and i'm sure it's the same with the Quran, when we should listen to the words of Allah. I can listen to most Imam's (hope that is the right word) and it shows Islam is a very loving Religion and read from others that use it as a weapon and the same thing happens with the Bible, there are extremist in all Religions but they only speak for a very small percent of that Religion.. I just feel this man is so loving that it would do every Christian good to listen to how 99.9% of Muslims live their lives by the loving word in the Quran, words of Allah.

I was demeaned by my to-be partner's family for being a practising shia muslim. I was ridiculed and made fun of for the way I praised my lord, and in the end they didn't give me their daughter's hand (she'd been emotionally and verbally abusive to me for months, only to find out that she'd done the same with many other guys). When I introduced myself as a muslim from iran, the first question they asked was "shia?", then I was ridiculed continuously for as long as I knew them. I was raised to believe muslims are one group, united, and I viewed (and still do alhamdulilah) all sects are equal. But unfortunately they didn't, alhamdulilah this khutbah (especially at 27:10) brought me some peace of mind. Let's be more focused on uniting than separating. Thank you brother nouman

Wow this is beautiful. Mashallah This is why I cry because I’m so thankful Allah reminds me of humility daily. I admit my ego and shaytan can whisper hard but when I put Allah first over me and remind myself. No I’m the submitter ,his servant and nothing else. Nothing will ever come close to or equal to Allah. Once I think I’m above anyone I’m quickly reminded who’s trying to misguide me. Shaytan. Humility daily for me is a must because we get hit from all areas without realizing. I’m so proud to be Muslim and I feel so lucky Allah allowed me to see this and guide me omg I don’t feel alone. I don’t even have Muslim friends (yet),because of the way some or most judge others especially the non Muslims. They can be misguided and full of ego and what is that? Satanic. This is not Islam it does not feel like Islam to me so I separate and run to Allah. I’m thankful for him allowing me to be reminded I’m here for him and I ask for guidance every single day almost every hour of my day because I know I’m nothing without him and he is the best of planners Alhamdulillah May Allah bless this brother and continue to guide him. You said it beautifully, a friend of mine got further away from Islam because muslim people of her own family or surroundings judged and scared her lot if she doesnt do xyz, that this and that will cast her into hell. And that concerned and saddened me so much, our religion shouln't be described like that... I took the responsibilty to try my best to guide and show that there are much more positive and calming ways to explain and teach Islam, she was very thankful and I felt very good about it doing sth good. But I realized quickly that in the end I don't own that guidance and she may learn or do sth wrong bc of me, I still need to learn a lot about my deen as well. I didn't judge her at all, my will and wish to make her Islam beautiful came by heart, she is very dear to me, but am I not also putting myself on a podium when guiding her? Could be this described as a trick of shaytann I wonder? I feel like the video above made me even more careful in that matter but I loved your comment about humility and Allah's guidance a lot, since that's what brings us often down to earth again. Lately whenever I have the feel I can help a person further in a deen, I see it as a sign of Allah that I may be a bridge or little nudge for that person, I try to inspire them positively and share what I learned as well, but I refrain from taking full charge and go try hard, instead I stay positive, give out that little nudge which my heart tells me and pray for them humbly from the distance after that, I believe that indeed only Allah can show and guide best. I hope that's the right way to approach. I would love to hear your opinion about it as well (only if you want to), maybe you experienced even sth similiar who knows! May Allah guide and teach us beautifully with daily little reminders and bring us with the rightous people together inshallah.
