hi Ms Risa turmeric is harvested 10 months after planting and for your melon pointing or touching it doesn't cause it to fall off it fall off if it doesn't get pollinated .have yourself a good evening.

one other thing apart from the turmeric being ready in 10 months when the leaves start dying back and start to bend over then that's another sign it is ready.
