Apparently its better to put the belt more around the pelvis and less the low back to reduce sheering stress with the belt squat. Idk if this helps but thought I'd mention it
@coulddo25 күн бұрын
But how to make it like you said We just can’t put the belt around our pelvis

I wanna start thp at some point down the road. I haven’t hit the weights that much really, but I’d estimate my vertical is somewhere in the 30 inch range. Wanna aim for 40+ by the end of next year. I’m dunking now at 6 ft off 3 steps. But my goal is the free throw line. I can jump high enough I just need a little more distance and to do it with the ball. I also got rim stuffed on a 360 attempt off a lob today. But I’m determined that I’m gonna hit it soon.

Hey isaiah can you make a video without equipment like for home workout

I'm taking my training seriously for 2 weeks now. I'm already more explosive and went from touching rim to easily grabbing it from above, lol. I never thought I could get it back that quickly since I had a torn ACL tear and three meniscus tears all in the same knee (thanks soccer). I never lifted weights but could rim graze at 5'10 when I was like 18/19. Now, with lifting weights for explosiveness, I have a feeling I will well.. explode in the next months.

Isaiah, have you ever had quad tendonopathy? If yes, how long did it take to recover?
@EGDaOne9 күн бұрын
I had quad tendinitis before I’d recommend resting and doing isometric holds that’s how mine got better. Make sure you’re warming up properly and not increasing your workload too rapidly as those are the main causes.

How did you put on so much strength without gaining a lot of size, I’ve seen people with quad bigger then both my legs struggle with weight you move

I have a 31 inch standing vert and a 35 inch running vert, I'm 5'7 at 15 but I still have a long way to go. I'm going to need a 45 inch vert to dunk efficiently

Nice to see you back at it again, but go easier on your body. That little voice that's telling you to stop is actually your body preventing you from injury, so just be extra cautious.
