We do have Ngoni (Nguni) tribe in Tanzania too. Originally from South Africa, the Ngoni people moved up north settling in Southern Tanzania and some parts of Mozambique and Malawi. They ran away from the rise of Shaka Zulu in the early 1800s.

@Akoben Renaissance You are making such an IRRELEVANT and pointless point my friend. The nounces of statement clearly went over your pay grade. The premise of YOUR question is totally wrong, my advice to you is look through the thread and then, determine where anybody has challenged the naming rights or name changes of the American blacks, (are you more satisfied being referred to as American Blacks rather than African- Americans, is that your beef?). I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHEN?, WHO? WHAT? NOR HOW? THEY STARTED CALLING "AMERICAN BLACKS" AFRICAN AMERICANS, NOR WHY THEY, WHOEVER THEY ARE DID THAT AS THIS ALL IRRELEVANT, THE POINT IS WE ARE ALL NEGROES, THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE, AT SOME POINT WE ALL CALL FROM THE SAME FATHER NOAH. I would recommend my brother you need to really work on your UNDERSTANDING of who we are to come to the realisation that we are a family and stop trying to take some high moral ground based on some pseudo knowledge you may have heard from One West Israelite camps who are pushing a doctrine of hating Hamites and claiming near on ALL AFRICANS ARE HAMITES when only the Most High knows the true Israelites. Brother you will come to understand that "SOME" of our brothers and sisters went into SLAVERY to the Americas a lot of Native/Negroes where already over there(don't believe European history), EVEN MORE WENT INTO SLAVERY ALL OVER THE EARTH FROM THE EAST, SOUTH, SOUTH CENTRAL AFRICA. ( Please don't push that garbage to me that "HISPANICS " are Israelites, simply breaking down the word gives clues to their ancestral lineage). Europeans have deliberately muddied the waters and mixed things up around the world where today you have the people in Egypt having a certain PALE skinned appearance whereas, the real Egytians are black, they have done the same in Australia, New Zealand, America, Argentina(do you know early 20th century, Argentina was approximately 40-50 % negro) now try and find any of our brothers there. Look even at the man made region they call "Middle East and Arabia" which really is NORTH EAST AFRICA ALL OF IT!!!! The pale skinned Arabs all over that region are NOT NOT INDIGENOUS TO THAT LAND, THEY ARE ALL INVADERS, THE ORIGINAL PEOPLE OF THAT REGION THE BLACK ARABS. They have done in that region near on breed and killed off the true and original peoples. Then the sad thing is I get my brother trying to come at me on a European nameling technicality thinking that he knows something, yet the bottom line is our AMERICAN BLACK BROTHERS, WE ARE A FAMILY, WE NEED YOU, YOU NEED US WE NEED EACH OTHER, SO WE WELCOMING YOU BACK TO YOUR FAMILY MY "BLACK AMERICAN" BROTHERS.

I have a question my family surname is "Ngwenya" I know the meaning of the name, I know there is a town in Swaziland bearing my family name, I myself was born in Bulawayo but raised in London UK, I want to know if the Ngwenya clan name ties our origins to that town in Swaziland as I am planning to visit some time this year if anybody knows.

Interesting facts: (1) the area now known as eSwatini was 1st settled by Sotho tribes, Tsonga, and the San (SA tribes). (2) During the expansion of the Zulu empire (from south africa) these tribes came under one king, Dlamini clan, the bloodline of the reigning King. (3) the land originally covered parts of mozambique, MP (SA) parts of limpopo, parts of Zimbabwe (4) the king had two sons, they went to war for decades ultimately a truce was made and the land divided between the two brothers. One established what you now call eSwatini the other ended up having his land absolved into what is now know as South Africa (SA) and some in Mozambique. This is the reason why you get Swatis in SA but do not originate from eSwatini.

Our history as Africans go back 200,000 years moving up down the African continent and the world. We Africans are the origins of all human beings; all 7. billion hiumans. We just don't pay much attention to our complete true history. We depend too much of the distorted Eurocentric history that we had no history before colonialism in the 1880s. Swatis originated from central africa as according to history told by white man. That is no evidence supporting that white man history. In fact that white man history comes with ulterior motive to support their claim to land. The truth of the matter is that that history is nothing but devilish lies. Bantu people should desist from relying on those stories. When you consider ancient stone ruins scattered all over southern africa and bantu languages of southern africa one can confidently conclude that southern bantu people had been here for thousands years

@co golden - I'm sorry. even if she did not give a full course in the history of her people. What she says does not come from whites or European settlers. The African peoples have kept a memory thanks to the social structure which transmitted its culture and told its story despite the exogenous violence that came to destroy their empires. Personally, I benefited from this historic training in a village in the Congo during each funeral ceremony or wedding. My Grandfather and his peers explained to us that our elders came from Angola (Kingdom of Kongo). They described the journey, the stages and territories occupied and the separations with other groups which were leaning in other directions or staying. It is above all a question of history only the school books excluded until today in primary schools and universities. In French-speaking countries where "Hachette Education" and others are still building official programs, Crime is perpetuated. The history of the "white man" glorifies the differences or invents them as in the Congo with the Laris, the Dondos, the Béembés, .... All these peoples endeavors to differentiate are Kongos of the same Empire. I'm not even talking about the "invention" of Tutis and Hutus by the Germans and the Belgians in Rwanda and Burundi with the consequences that we know.

I thought on the other vlogg the man said the agonis foubdcthe San in eswatini in the mountains doing mining and eswatini fought San(bushmen) conquered them than the Sans who survived intermarried with eswatinis birthing the Koisan, but this lady is not mentioning the San at all. Just asking bcause am abit confused. The Bushmen are still plenty in Botswana to this day.

TOMBI, I AM ALSO CONFUSED, WHAT IS THE CONNECTION TO THE SAN (BUSHMEN) THE MINES? THE COLONIST RULE AND THE ESWATINI KINGDOM?? PEOPLE SHOULD QUESTION WHAT THEY ARE BEING TOLD. WHY IS THAT PART OF HISTORY SO UNCLEAR ??
@PolexData
@PolexData 4 жыл бұрын
She spoke about history from the 14th century (1300 onwards). The video about the San date back to 43000 years ago (mining happening there). That's a long time in between.I hope that clarifies a bit. Not enough space to explain everything here. Africans did not write their history and so you will find inconsistencies that were meant to suit to victor. Whenever we talk about land they say we arrived in SA same time as them which is bull. While we may hv come from central Africa, we were here long before common era. Jan van Riebek found ppl who have been living in this part of the world for hundreds if not thousands of centuries when he arrived in the Cape. Im talking about history before the Berlin conference and all that. The 3 countries (eSwatini, Lesotho, Botswana) who got British Protectoriate happened 120 yrs ago after Anglo Boer war. That is baby age to the history of Africs. Berlin conference happened in the 1700s (baby years again).That's a story for another day. Fact: our history was distorted by the victor to suit them.

@@michaelmaps2004. You just don't go and settle because you're an African though. You need to prove that your grandparents or great grandparents came from that country. If not you would get a visa for a certain period of time and eventually get settlement status. For example I was born and bred in Zimbabwe but my great great grandparents were British who moved to South Africa, then again moved to Zimbabwe. I currently have British citizenship through my ancestors and I can also claim South African citizenship through my ancestors. Three nationalities in all. My Zimbabwean born brother has been living and working in South Africa for the past 40 years and he also got his citizenship by descent.

Thanks for passing on another revealing history lesson about Eswatini. Since Afrika is not an Afrikan title, I believe it should be changed back to its original name before the Europeans corrupted it, and the streets throughout the motherland should all be in local languages. It's time to break free from the negative stranglehold that has been holding us back.

Some of the Swati kings take the names of their forefathers. For instance, king Sobhuza11 got his name from one of his forefathers who was Sobhuza the 1st. Likewise, the curent king Mswati the 3rd got his name from Mswati the 2nd who is known as the warrior king.
