As a Chiefs fan during this Veach gm era, we could have drafter DK Metcalf, Jonathan Taylor, and George Pickens but instead drafted Mecole Hardman, Clyde Edwards Helaire, and Skky Moore. Can't be mad with Veach last year cause he finally hit on an offensive weapon with Isaiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice and hope it continued, and really can't be mad with winning 3 SB in that time span with the weapons Veach drafted for Mahomes. I just wish Veach finally figure out how to draft offensive weapons for Mahomes so we would not need to sign a big game WR through the free agency

Veach is one of my fav GM (not a chiefs fan but live in Kc) but he isn’t really known for his drafts outside of Pat. He takes chances on guys, but he is talent is salary cap gymnastics. That’s why he is GM. But you’re right he could tighten up on his draft picks but with a guy like Pat you get a lot of wiggle room lol
