Because the Broncos absolutely burried him by having an awful OC and a Head Coach that never wanted him or had any interest in starting him. They made him look bad so every team believed he was bad. But let’s be honest Drew Lock isn’t a starting caliber QB

I like to think it's _possible._ 1) Daboll used to be known as the QB Whisperer - until this past year. 2) Scangarello *hated* Lock & told him as much. Gee, I wonder if the guy then schemed things to make himself look stupid by doing right by Lock? 3) I don't know who in Giants management is so stuck on Jones but I don't think it's Daboll. He will use this off-season to see what Lock can do. But if there's any QB with the talent who can be resurrected by better coaching my $ is on Fields. If he could mentally survive the physical & deliberate sabotaging he endured in CHI, then it's 'cause he wants this to be His Career. & the Giants I think are a better situation for him. Ah well.

Tbh if Drew Lock was drafted into the coaching situation Bo Nix just did, we'd probably be talking about him as a legit NFL starter.

Bridgewater over Lock was a pathetic attempt by Vic Fangio to save his job. The move didn’t make sense at the time and still doesn’t make sense today

He was so fun to watch in Denver, but every throw was either going to be great or picked off. He played a bit too dangerous. I was pissed when they started Teddy over Drew in 2021, but once the season starred I understood why. The 3 games he came in to play after Teddys injury were pretty ugly. I still root for the guy and hope he gets to start for NY soon. Hes a baller. With Nix, I feel pretty confident (most of the time) when the ball comes out that itll be a completion or not picked. Drew was so fun but it was too inconsistent.

Do your job. Lock lost receivers Sutton and Hamler and Judy dropped five passes right in his hands in one game. Also lost starting left guard. DO YOUR JOB

Which is odd. My understanding is that Scangarello hated Lock & let him know it, making him possibly The Worst Coach in NFL history. _Why_ would any coach *DO* that?

I remember seeing lock freshman highlights the same year a luck rookie highlights....as a jags fan i pondered for second then lock went on to be meh

Cuz they got rid of the OC that had him going 4-1 and brought in Shat Shurmer who’s been ran out of town by every team he’s been on.

The COVID year was horrible for drew. He hurt himself and showed immaturity when he and all Denver quarterbacks took off their masks snd all were ineligible for the saints game. Vic fangio hated him. He should have started over joe flacco. They never should have traded Bridgewater. I would take him over Wilson anytime. Plus all the players and draft picks and capital. Oh well
