well jokes aside the very process of actually gaining the trust of sentinelese was a long process, an Indian team actually took on this mission themself to befriend the people their via constantly circling island via motorboat for months and sending coconuts, fruits, toys, etc, initially the sentinelese accepted the gift but were still hostile and showed their weapons to them, and destroyed the toys in front of them dancing(on the beach) but after some months some sentinelese swam near the boat and got some coconuts from the researcher team, and then went back and the opportunity arrived when the researchers met the sentinelese face by face on their island and that also coz the team had a women it gave them a sense of hospitality and the sentinelese even brought their children and women their. So it was not actually just coconuts.

Native tribes got wiped out from diseases brought over and native flora and fauna were also affected by invasive species as well. Literally upwards of 90% of the native peoples were killed by diseases brought over from Europe. NINETY PERCENT. So leave this tribe alone. They don’t need to be bothered. They don’t need to be contacted. They don’t need outside help. They’ve survived here with their own way of life for a very, very long time. And most importantly of all, they don’t want people coming to their island, and that should be respected. It’s their HOME. How would you feel if Christian missionaries and other strangers just invaded your house like they owned the place? Some people in Africa still eat raw meat. Raw beef in Ethiopia is a common dish, it could make you or I sick. Their intestinal immune systems are more robust.

@@mydogghost Well I just did some reading. The North Sentinelese do not know how to make fire. They possess it, but from lightning strikes. So I assume they just keep the fire going. If a massive monsoon rain storm finally puts it out, which I would guess is entirely possible, and probably occasionally happens, they could go months or years before being able to get fire again, how often does lightning strike a small island and start a fire for them to find and capture 🤷
