You didn't explain how they acquired the New Juaben Koforidua land. I'm sure the land belong to the Akyem state if I'm not mistaken. Can someone elaborate how they acquired the New Juaben land.

The government then pleaded the land from Akyem and Akuapem, don't forget that Akyem and Akuapem are the same as Okuapemhene can sit in the thrown of Kyebi, the agreed with the government and give the land to Juaben people

The Juaben people in Koforidua came to their present state of Juaben in Koforidua as refugees. They didn’t want to join the Asante confederacy by force as it then the case. They escaped to their present state just to avoid the wrath of the extremely powerful Asante forces. Same as the people from Efijuase in Koforidua

Simply put the Akyem Abuakwa land custodians gave both the Juaben and Efijuase people from Asante a place to settle. To me, they should have been made to pay allegiance to the Asona Piesie who is the King of Akyem Abuakwa whose station is Kyebi.

The name is Ampoben Afra, not Ampaabeng. Juaben was founded by Akaete Nnam(re) and Otomfo Awere, The name is Osekyerehene Nana Akuamoa Boateng Panin. Nana Akwasi Boateng died at Saamang near Osino. Nana Kofi Boateng died at Obo---Kwahu.
