Here's hoping. These are impressive feats, just need maintained. Global North generally wants any of these Sur organizations to have as limited power as the African unions, maybe less. We need to do our part too. In any case, glad to see Jacobin still making videos😊

Brazil now has multiple alliances with the USA under Biden specifically to help workers and vast majority of South America is still reliant on other influential imperial powers for certain goods to keep their nations functional (fertiliser is main one). So yeah can’t see them drifting too far away from any imperial power just so they can play one off against another.

The biggest problem is the high levels of crime within its countries' borders, and the lack of faith in governance. Too many competing factions, too much corruption, it's like all the worst bits of American history with none of the good parts.
