Absolutely loved this. So interesting to hear the history behind these holes versus just the breakdown on how to play it or fly by drone footage. Can't wait to watch another in the future.

I love Pacific. It's my favorite course there. Absolutely an amazing track. I've played both Cypress and Pebble and they are iconic but bandon... It's just heaven for me.

I love hole #13 so this video is now in my favorites. Enjoyed the story of discovering the new area of land that yielded such a great set of holes.

please break down sand valley hole 4, in my opinion the best and most difficult par 5 in the midwest

Great job! I am not as familiar with the Bandon courses as some people and this was a great introduction. Some other video suggestions: 18th at Harbour Town (or any of the holes there 17, 7, 13, etc), 16th at Cypress, but it doesn't have to be a famous hole--just any hole with a good story that we might not know about

I always wonder what this amazing country looked like before settlers came and utilized land as an economic and recreational resource. I think if you lived here natively, the land was sure beautiful, but just part of life. But comparing the country today to say, 400 years ago, man I just wish I could see that.

To be clear ... this isn't the best oceanside hole in America, partly because it isn't the best oceanside hole at Bandon Dunes Resort (Bandon #16 is the best, and I'll fight ya on that).

16 at Bandon Dunes is a great and dramatic hole! Why do you think it is better than PD 13?
@WesternGolfAlliance24 күн бұрын
@@michaeljensen4095 PD13 is beautiful, a hole seemingly just discovered having already been perfectly created by nature. But it is straightforward ... 390 into the wind, so hit driver, then as much club as you need to reach the green, and don't slice either shot into all the bunkers or pull them off the cliff. BD16 is almost as beautiful, with a breathtaking green sight. But it presents so many options ... Downwind, do you dare try to drive the green at the risk of slicing it off the cliff? If not, how much of the ridge can you bite off and still reach the upper fairway? Do you want to punch-and-run your approach, or hit a full short iron that, if it doesn't hold, will bound OB? Okay, just my opinion, and I won't REALLY fight anyone on this ;-) but that's why I prefer BD16.

most ovverrated course in america not named pebble beach. and its not even the best hole at Pac dunes. least impressive course at Bandon. two -four great holes doesnt make a great golf course. 18 great holes, and no dog holes, does.
