At the #HRC57, FORUM-ASIA supported Afghan woman human rights defenders like Sara Nabil in raising awareness about the Taliban’s new “morality law.” This law strips women of fundamental rights, barring them from speaking, singing, or leaving their homes without a male guardian.
Women in #Afghanistan face increased violence, erasure from public life, and a growing crisis of despair. The world must listen to their voices, support their struggle for rights, and hold the Taliban accountable.
It’s time to listen to their stories and hold the Taliban accountable for their crimes.
