The closer we seem to get to the next General Election, the more it appears that Sunak is in trouble. As he struggles with low polling numbers, his group of rebels apparently have a plan to remove him from office. But, can this plan really work, and can it be successful?

Sunak is not a conservative, he is an appeaser to globalist elite which also means the EU elite hence he was shoehorned into position and ever since has done little in the interest of the UK but done everything to appease the EU and WEF, his interests follow that of the global agenda, finance sectors and big corporate investors, the last thing on his list is the UK and its economy, we have to remember he is former Goldman Sach employee and has been indoctrinated to put profit before the interests of the supposed ppl he should be looking after. We did have a true conservative party but they have all been shut down and now we basically have a stagnant party that is scared to tackle problems directly in case it upsets someone else.

It's like changing managers in midseason: people often think "this one is not working, we need him out"; but rarely stop to consider whether a new one will work better, or it will be the same disaster with a different face at the front. @@lewis123417 The German economy is stronger than the British economy but the British economy has been f'ed before brexit since the Tories took over there has been almost 0% productivity growth. This means low wages which leads to low tax income and just in general a really bad economy. People just think "Cus the UK technically hasn't had a recession we are doing better than the EU" but this is far from the truth. Brexit isn't fully to blame but it basically threw a lot more gasoline on the fire. Basically if you have a degree or are qualified probably best to look to leave the UK if you want higher wages

@Will-nq9yt Germany has been a stronger economy than the UK for decades so that is a totally mute point. And yes it is relevant that despite a global pandemic and brexit which was predicted to be a meltdown and yet we've avoided a recession and Germany hasn't. Productivity growth had been down the drain again for about 20 years so doesn't seem at all directly linked to brexit

Based on the current data, the UK's economy in late 2023 was showing resilience with GDP at 1.4% above its pre-pandemic level, while Germany's GDP was only up by 0.3%. For 2024, the UK is forecasted by the OECD to grow by 0.7% and the IMF projects a 0.6% growth. On the other hand, Germany is facing a recession with negative growth expected in 2024 due to weak business prospects and geopolitical uncertainties. The German economy contracted by 0.3% in the previous year and is also dealing with high energy prices affecting production, increased corporate bankruptcies, and a cooling labor market. The IMF predicted Germany to be the only G7 economy to have shrunk in 2023 [❞] [❞] [❞].So, in terms of recent performance and short-term projections, the UK's economy is showing stronger growth compared to Germany's, which is grappling with several challenges that are hindering its economic output.@@Will-nq9yt

That's because it's a stupid idea, and the more time passes the dumber the idea becomes. There's going to be a general election in the UK potentially as early as this May and Tories will be out and Labour will be in so it doesn't matter who is Tory PM right now. At best, they're hoping that they can suffer smaller losses under someone else (more extreme) but the machinations of actually kicking Sunak out means that they have very low chance of getting Sunak out AND then they need to advertise it to the public that they're now Sunak-less and the people need to accept it.

Heritage Party We are now in our fourth year since we launched as a party in autumn 2020. This is a vital year for us as there is likely to be a General Election at the end of 2024. We will also be contending local elections in England and the London Assembly election next May. In the UK, the old political parties continue to work in lockstep together to allow perverse materials into classrooms for Relationships and Sexuality Education, permit open borders with unprecedented levels of both illegal and legal immigration, and make war on motorists with increasingly onerous restrictions on travel for ordinary citizens such as LTNs, 15-minute cities and the ULEZ. The Heritage Party is the only UK-wide party that will end the climate emergency hoax and lift all restrictions on carbon dioxide emissions. We will ensure that people can continue to buy and use petrol and diesel cars and keep gas boilers in their homes. We will repeal regulations that require homes to have SMART meters and meet impossible new building emissions criteria, designed to force the abandonment of older buildings that are a precious part of our heritage. We will introduce a Child Protection Bill to protect children from propaganda that attempts to confuse them with gender ideology or groom them into early sexual activity. We will also control our borders by pushing illegal boats back across the Channel and introducing strict caps on student and work visas while ensuring we train enough young British people to do the jobs that need to be done in this country. I Edward say that if anyone votes Lib/Lab/ Con or any other left wing parties they need their head examined. Heritage could, with your help make Britain great again. Anyone who votes labour or tory or any other left wing party need their head examined

Only with a completely defeated and disgraced conservative party can the UK attempt to fix what is really broken in that country - the non-proportional first-by-the-post anti-democratic election system that puts pretty faces ahead of policy in what a citizen needs to consider in the voting booth, and penalizes minority opinions into nonexistence.

A couple of points. Your polling is missing the party currently polling third on 13% the Reform Party. The General Election will be on new boundaries. The Reform Party is more conservative than the Conservative Party. New boundaries means Scotland losing 2 seats including Moray. Wales losing 7 or 8 seats. Neither Starmer or Sunak are seen as strongmen when across the world strongmen call the shots, Putin, Xi, etc. What happens to the SNP vote will be interesting. What happens to the Red Wall will be crucial. Or will people resist voting?

As an outsider, for a while now it's seemed like Sunak would quite like to be at least somewhat competent, but his party won't allow such nonsense.

First, they would have to admit that they made any, which is not something the Tories are capable of. No, they'll keep on doubling down, offering tax cuts to the rich while hollowing out public services and moving ever further to the right and becoming ever more vindictive towards the weak and the vulnerable in society. That's Tory policy in a nutshell. Always has been.

@@davidpryce5079 Okay, but Reform is the closest you have. And they seem right wing enough, for example net zero on immigration. That’s literally the stance of all the parties you mentioned. Against Islamisation of Europe and pro assimilation and having a central unifying culture, underpinned by nationalistic values and ideals. Again, Reform’s close enough.
