Yes, the story of Frankenstein came to my mind years ago when I started reading about this nuttery before anyone was really talking about it in the media. I was very concerned, and knew we were going to have a problem with "detransitioners". Started getting a bit weirded out though because no one around me, or lib radio (don't have tv) were addressing the issue. I switched to conservative radio because they were the only ones at the time who started hammering away on it. They were right. Now, we are all "bigots", and "fascists" if we question it. Ha! This is among the best videos on this issue. It's quite interesting how Trans became so prominent so quickly. I think the internet had a big part to play, but without the normalization and even promotion of it schools and other institutions it wouldn't have the power that it enjoys. What's fascinating to me is that the dialogue has shifted away from Gender Dysphoria (GD) and to identity. It seems that no longer is it that a person should have GD in order to qualify for transition but one must simply identify as Trans and that's enough to start the process. It's come out that centers know the right doctors who will simply sign whatever documents so that a person can start transing themselves. The whole thing has become a motte and bailey argument in the extreme. If you're opposed to transition they label you as opposed to health care for people with debilitating GD, but in reality they hold the opinion that it's all centered on identity. So if someone need only identify as a thing the system can kick into high gear to "support" them; putting them on a train who's final stop is surgeries and a life time of dependence on the medical / pharmaceutical / social work system. When it comes to the power of the Transes, I think perhaps the most telling is the fact that gays and lesbians are basically not the center of the "LGBTQAIIP2S+" world anymore. Gays and Lesbians and Bisexuals have become essentially old news and their issues are seemingly secondary to those of the Transgenders. Now that group is fracturing because they, the gays and lesbians, don't want to have anything to do with the Ts and Qs. Frankly, the biggest difference between the LGBs and Ts is the medicalization and the permanent mutilation of the body. One can "experiment" with same sex attractions and later decide that's not them and suffer few if any consequences. As we are seeing via the detrans people, if you experiment with trans you suffer consequences for the rest of your life becoming as Chris Rufo rightly analogized, a kind of frankenstein's monster.

@ I’m glad that it is working for you. I have a close personal friend who also transitioned, top and bottom MTF surgeries and more. Thing is that my friend is clearly on a constant unending quest to achieve a goal always a bit out of reach. The only end is satisfaction, which would be admirable to arrive at. To fair being able to be satisfied with one’s self is something we should all strive for. None the less it’s terrible to be told the only way a person can be made happy is to have medical interventions for the rest of their lives. By no means should it be understood that under going these procedures dehumanizes a person nor do I see a person as less than human if they have done so. Rather the Frankenstein’s monster comment is rather a comment on the hubris of humanity to believe us able to control the forces or nature, to bend biology to our will. A neo vagina or front hole or what ever is not a real vagina nor is a neo penis which had to be constructed in a “phallus palace” (something from a rather old book on FTM bottom surgeries). The problem is the discourse insists that the literally unnatural be equated to the unnatural, not the human person but the products of the works of the medical industry. A person is not their genitals any more than a person is their left arm. However, in one case we all can say a person has a prosthetic whereas in another to say a person has a fake [insert genitalia of choice here] is considered hateful. Dehumanize is thrown around so cavalierly these days. What kids are taught, how we are to interact with each other, the security we should be due in private moments and so on these are things rightly deserving discussion but because this is tied up with an individual’s self perception the conversation is muddied and each side sees the other as clearly good or bad when the truth is likely more complicated. At one point my friend said my wife and I should not “gender” our kids. I’ll of course parent as wish, but the strange belief that someone else should be of the belief they can dictate how we raise our kids is telling. To me it is no different than the fundamentalist religious sort saying that we need to baptize our kids and get them off into church. The need to control the beliefs and minds of others is interesting.

One encouraging thing is that as this stuff has come into the light people are starting to wake up to it’s true outcomes. Ten years ago living in San Francisco (pre doom loop), I began paying attention to this. It was starting to come out in my actual life and I wanted to learn about it. I felt completely alone and felt like a cia mole living in the most uber liberal city in the world. Now I see this stuff everywhere online and in real life. At least most of us do not believe in this stuff when it comes down to it. There are many that do but I’d say only about 10% (being generous) actually believe it I honestly believe that.
