Yeah, but he also broke the treaty by trying to kill Karai, made things worse, and more or less started the whole thing. Raph's my favorite, love that big dick energy, but...he messed up.

Raph was always my favorite...when i first started reading the series i thought it was going to be about Splinter dying...i thought he was the last ronin...when Raph died i was really shocked...i love that book especially at the end when they show them all back together in NYC and drawn like they were in the early years...i teared up at the last scenes

Growing up with mainly the 2003 TMNT, this comic was heart-ripping for me, nevertheless it really is the peak of TMNT. I think cuz of the 1987 series people forget that TMNT is a saga of dark nature, which 2003 (and 2012 at times) were able to return and redeem the franchise to its true glory

I think the last 3 seasons of the original series were trying to become close to the original comics. Starting with season 8, the whole tone of the show was darker than the previous 7. The show only took place at night. Pizza was never seen again (or barely mentioned at all). Mikey wasn't as goofy anymore. The turtles were on the run from the law after the channel 6 building was destroyed until the end of the series. All the goofy characters were never seen again, or the 4 main bad guys from the first season were written out of the show after season 8. Lord Dregg was a darker antagonist than Shredder and Krang. I could be wrong about this last one, but I think Michaelangelo and Donatello actually did kill Dregg at the very end of the series.

I always new Michael Angelo would be the last turtle surviving. He’s always been my favorite aswell. People think he’s the weakest link because he’s goofy, in reality he is extremely skilled and knows when he needs to be serious. This comic have Michael Angelo a spot light i never thought he would have.

Seriously Leo died because of Baxter Stockman that’s probably 1 of the worst possible characters to die to, Casey makes sense, but Leo is BS. How did wise Master Splitter not sense an ambush coming, even if it was he has to go thing he would not have brought Don along if he even thought he would be in danger. Raph’s death was the only one that actually made sense him going to fight the foot clan by himself is definitely something he would do.

Ralphy always been my favorite turtle since a kid. I remember playing the games and I would always fight over playing as Ralphy. It does make sense the way he died, he always been a hothead that feel like he don’t need a team reason why he started doing vigilante work. He went out like how he was supposed to, it fits his character.
