Great interview! When Ale said "most of the people that are going to see us tonight don't know us", I remember being startled by the number of The Warning shirts in the crowd. CHOM FM plays The Warning often. I brought my brother to the show for TW. We stayed for he headliners, but his response after the show was that he really liked TW and finally understood that seeing them live hits so much harder.

Exactly, Dany is very goofy and spontaneous, making jokes all the time even on stage she's naturally funny. I saw them live she cracks me up. Pau seems more serious and kind of stone face sometimes specially wearing sunglasses all the time like m&g and interviews. They are typical zoomers, in a good way (there are more educated and informed people among us than among the older generation) Daiela is more specific and inconsistent. Montreal - the resting place of Leonard Cohen. That 5'1" drummer you interviewed has written some of the most profound metaphors in rock. Intellectually she is right up there with the greats - Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Roger Waters. Incredibly she reached her peak at the age of 15 while going through an emo phase in middle school. The result was a concept album called Queen of the Murder Scene published in 2018. She and her sisters have brought back the intelligence of classis rock from 60s, 70s to contemporary rock.

i can verify they have inspired young artist. Quinn 17yo guitar/vocals taught herself guitar to The Warning's Queen Of The Murder Scene album at 11yo. Aria 16yo bass/vocals and 16yo Jonah on drums got together to form Freeze The Fall from B.C. Canada. some of us The Warning Army have been supporting them on their kickstarters. @jasonnord785 Well I see your point. And happen to partly agree. But in an interview you have the overall perspective of the participants and the wants of the viewers and fans. For these hard working women you have a very strenuous schedule to maintain when performing at their particular levels of expertise. So when it comes to interviews these women can easily say no interviews because they rather rest in between concerts; or they can give interviews to whoever they choose. If they only had a couple of shows per year then every interview would be at the highest of priorities. Then if this were the case, direct eye contact, from non-tired eyes, would be the norm. Also it could also be a style or manner of habit choice. If they choose to wear sunglasses, they need not offer an explanation. They are the epitome of rock stars. Now this interviewer is perfect. She realises their state and asks questions accordingly. The Warning have and have always given off a professional ambiance. On and off the stage. For them its of little consequence, to concern themselves with that which does not matter to them, in the slightest. Narcissistic slyness, is not the order of the day, it's just a matter of their ascendancy.

I agree. Maybe it's the senior citizen in me, but I find it very disrespectful to be sitting in an interview with someone wearing sunglasses indoors. If they want to wear wear them and they're just hanging out by themselves I couldn't care. I really hope this trend and soon. Hopefully after they get some rest.

A very interesting interview. As others noted, covering "new" subjects. There's a cute little moment at about 8:30 when Ale, for whatever reason, hides Pau's lanyard. Little sister looking after her big(ger) sister. I wonder what that was all about.

I noticed this too, and as a musician, I can pretty much guarantee I know why: there has been incidents of people using fake laminates to get backstage access in the last few years at various shows-and in some cases causing problems, etc. In fact, I recently heard a story about this happening-someone copied a laminate from online, used it to get backstage and then committed a crime-in fact, I believe it was a sexual assault. Sooo…yeah, band’s are being more careful. With the technology available today, pirate passes look more real than ever-so they keep the real ones out of the media, so they can’t be copied.
