How the Xenomorph Hive was Created in Alien Romulus Station

In this video, we will describe how the Renaissance Station became infested with aliens and how it actually contained an alien hive. We will take you through the steps of how this happened. Dumbest solution - crash the space station into the rings. The mining colony was close. Wonder why this wasn't done away from an active colony? Yeah. I figure this was gonna be the test platform for what was engineered. The fail-close process, if the station was breached by the Xenos, should've had Mother move the station to the nearest star.

Amazing explanation but ... Something I asked myself after watching the film and also includes some of the plot from aliens and that is... If weyland yutani knew about the xenomorphs on lv426 why didnt they just went back to the derelict on the planet instead of going for the nostromos wreckage, and also why didn't they do anymore searching after what happens in romulus until 37 years later when ripley was found in aliens ? Maybe there's an answer on some comic or media I don't know of 🤔

Because W-Y is not a monolith. It's a multiplanetary conglomerate employing hundreds of million of people. It's entirely possible that the whole of events of Alien and Alien: Romulus is just some high level exec acting on his own and trying to get a leg up on the company ladder with exclusive rights to an Alien specimen and its potential utility. Who after a string of failures, decided to memory hole the incidents to avoid responsibility, taking his secrets to his grave, until a few decades later - another ambitious exec looking for a leg up came along and reopened the can of worms.

If they do it like Covenant with many CGI shots, I'm all for it. Or else all we got is milliseconds flash of Alien striking, victim sudden screams and body drop dead all in 3 seconds scene.. That or full on body in suit action like Romulus act 3. Probably gonna look weird tho unless it's somewhat humanoid like Offspring. Covenant got the story wrong. But their alien is terrifying AF.

The Narcissis was drifting away from the Nostromo, but Big Chap was ejected from the back of the ship and when Ripley activated the engines the Alien was blown towards the opposite direction... He drifted into the direction of the Nostromo.

It was unexpected. It is never clear how Z-01 was extracted from Big Chap. Was it derived from its saliva? Fede says the black goo is a Xenomorphs "semen" but they don't reproduce like typical creatures, so I'm unclear on how or where on the Xenomorphs body this was extracted without hitting acidic blood. The offspring was obviously becoming an engineer, a callback to Prometheus and Covenant and completing the "trinity" of how the goo produced humans, Xenomorphs, and now Engineers. It created a plot hole, and it robs Ripley of the victory she had over Big Chap in Alien. It also indirectly robs her of the victory she had over the Queen because she may have cocooned in the same way as Big Chap and is still drifting in space. TL;DR the offspring introduction was odd. Sure people loved it, but now we're stepping into territory that drifts away from the primal horror of the Xenomorph itself. Would these hybrids be assimilated into a hive or would they be considered a lower class by the hive? I hate how these concepts are being introduced all because Ridley Scott is in the mix and does want to acknowledge that the Queen is canon to the lore - he has expressed his distaste for Cameron's design of her.

How WY got the info is unknown really, I mean they could have gathered some of the info from Prometheus. But Romulus ignores Covenant, which even Alvarez said as such, and why its never mentioned or hinted at. But it does connect to Prometheus, Alien and gives a nod to Aliens and Resurrection. It even gives a not to the game Isolation, with the save box on the wall. I don't blame Alvarez for ignoring Covenant, cause it messes up the lore setup in Prometheus and Alien. Even those short films that were added to the Bluray screw things up with the lore, and even what was setup in Covenant. Given what we know of the Alien lifecycle, Big Chap wouldn't carry Eggs cause that is solely the Queens doing. But we do know that a drone like Big Chap will create a Eggomrph out of its prey. They do this do create a proto type Queen Facehugger, or that's the plan, I don't know if its random or they can control it. So either Big Chap did this with someone on board, with the people sacrificing one of their own. Whether they knew what would happen or they did it to learn I don't know. They likely cloned the Facehuggers from the ones Big Chap made. They could be the ones in the glass case seen in the lab, they not only look different from the clones in those stasis things, but are the ones they got the Black Goo from. Not all of the ones in stasis got free, as we've seen all of them were still in stasis when Rook shot everything down. There were some broken open stasis ones at the entrance of the Hive. That could be were it started, and Andy even says they've been here for a long time. To me the clone ones in stasis look alot like the ones from Resurrection. But the ones in the lab and in the Hive look more like the normal Facehuggers from the original two films. I think there was a Queen, I mean the Alien would only make a Hive for/or in preparation of a Queen. That and we see the crew of Romulus are dead on the Hive walls with dead normal looking Facehuggers. Even the Facehugger near the end, that was about to give Rain the kiss of death looked like a normal one. That and I could of sworn I heard a Queen screaming deep in the Hive when Rain and Andy were alone down there. I wonder if Rook knew the Black Goo wouldn't help humanity became perfect? I mean we see the rest of the rat video the others didn't, but could Rook have known and was took badly damaged to remember? He connected WY and was trying to get it to them while experimenting with it on those on Jackson Star. Either way it clearly didn't make Kay perfect, but rather had her give birth to a Xeno/Engineer Offspring. Like Hadley's Hope, I would like a film showing what happened and how it all went wrong. But I heard that's not happening, and instead of a film we'll be getting a comic series explaining it.
