Someone on Tweek talks ( I think it was Marcus?) pointed out that Chase was jumping over Kazuya to make him auto-turn and cross him up since Kazuyas auto-turnaround is worse than the other FGC characters you can more easily get a hit in after the turnaround. So kind of baiting his shitty auto-turn and hitting him before he can. Which is crazy if it was intentional imo, to come up with that but watching you watch the Chase set I see it, he does do it quite a bit but I'm still not sure if it was intentional or not, crazy plan to find if he did. Edit: You did mention it but not to the degree it was done.

yall can just play invincible sword character and outspace kazuya or use the other 599 characters with invincible ariel damage shields also called nair and youll most likely beat kazuya because those characters are unpunishible 90% of the time also its really easy to beat kazuya if you arent scared of them because that gives us less time to react and punish if you just maul us down with fast characters

He's insane but he plays so different from every other character that you really have to commit to him for him to work out well. He requires a ton of practice to stay consistent and this will hurt your performance with other characters.

I think Kazuya should be banned. When the Kazuya player is playing good, unless you play Min Min, Steve, Sonic, or Young Link, you just can't win. Riddles was playing bad during Genesis, that's all I can see.

The thing about Kazuya is that you have to play optimally at top level, otherwise you'll get punished to smithereens like Chase did. Every good player using Kazuya isn't that consistent.

Only thing that’s broken about him is his weight and EWGF combo game/infinite. His disadvantage is really really bad because he’s so slow. Plus his recovery is kind of predictable most of the time you always know where the Kazuya is gonna go if you just learn the matchup. A lot of quick and light characters do well against Kazuya because the player has to adjust their combo in order to perform it correctly.
