It's so great that their musical development has been preserved so well in the many videos on KZbin, so even new fans can experience their journey from the beginning!

This is level 1 of knowledge of The Warning. It gives you the foundation of your fandom. They are still the same souls today, and have the same drive, having watched their TEDx performances you know the core of The Warning. TW is not just a rock band it is The Rock Band. Having watched these early and humble performances, you see that today they are still humans, not Rock'n Roll divas living the cliché Rock'n Roll life. They are on a road to the above and among other great bands of the past.

The mental bandwidth to multitask what Dany does it's just incredible at such young age and let's not even begin to mention Pau, is at least 4 times harder what she does playing and singing simultaneously and I love how Ale grooves so much to almost dance while playing that bass. These girls are amazing, Period. I just hope to live and see them become the biggest band in the world.

Bass (and drums outside of solos) can be under appreciated but have gotten a lot more of my attention with the Warning. If you listen to the original "The Pretender", the bass gets buried under the guitars but in a trio Ale's bass work really stands out.

I feel the same as you about this foreshadowing their future. All of the hard work and sacrifices are paying off and they will continue to grow and climb to the top of the music world. We just returned from our vacation in Canada where we got to see them twice. It was serendipity for us because we planned our vacation last year before they announced their tour dates, so we had no idea we would get to see them live on our vacation. We had to change our itinerary a little to see them and it was worth it. This makes four times I have seen them live, and I will see them every time I get the chance in the future. As fans, we are lucky they have documented so much of their professional and personal lives and let us see so much of it. It makes them seem like members of our extended family showing us their home movies.

Appreciate the wonderful reaction from you and the insightful comments as well. I have older children now and proud of them and who they turned out to be. With reference to your closing statements about how integral each instrument is, they learned songwriting AND arranging at the same time, back in 2013-14 when Ale's bass teacher Pablo González Sarre suggested they start writing their own music, so they began holding weekly meetings. At the end of each session he'd ask them to write a song in a specific genre for their next session, starting on piano to work out the melody and lyrics, then figuring out how to arrange it for a 3-piece band. Pablo says he would guide them by asking questions about what they are trying to say or how does the music convey their feelings instead of making his own opinionated recommendations. They became remarkably gifted at making it look and sound easy. No flash or wasted effort, every note necessary and heard clearly, proper use of silence and pauses, all done with microsecond timing. All this while they were still teens. Those "homework" songs were never intended to be released, but after their cover of Enter Sandman went viral in 2014 they decided they wanted to attend Berklee School of Music and released some of the songs as a fund raiser on the April 2015 iTunes EP "Escape the Mind". After they attended Berklee that Summer the remaining "homework" songs became the starting point for their first album, XXI Century Blood, released in 2017 when they were only 17-15-12.

Having been followed them for so long now (way before this performance) I can say that when this was released it was 🤯, especially with everything else going on too! The next Tedx was better but this one should never be ignored, it shows so much about how good they were even then! Yeah, I get the peeling onions effect too, it’s only natural when you think so highly of them; to me they’ve always been like my favourite granddaughters, yeah I am that old 😂. @DarrellW_UK Yes exactly, it has a bigger impact to see the progress they had in just one year, and seeing Ale gow so tall. I wish more people recommended this one first. Dany, Pau, and Ale come from a middle class family, definitely not wealthy. They have wonderful parents. Their dad's one prized possession was a limited edition BMW motorcycle; he sold it because his daughters said they wanted to start playing Rock, used the money to begin buying equipment necessary to make that dream come true, and also convert a family room into "The Warning Cave". Their mother, fiercely protective of her daughters, reviewed all the contracts they were offered by huge companies which would have led to instant fame yet destroyed who they are; their mother called these "Slave Contracts". This inspired the song "Money"; those contracts would have been a "Diamond noose at your throat" for these 3 remarkable sisters.

Playing and singing is a learned skill. It takes years of practice to do it right. These ladies have 11 years of that experience behind them, including hundreds of performances and thousands of hours of practice. One of my musician friends once said it's a lot like driving. Eventually, your subconscious takes over, and it's an autonomic function. You program your brain when you practice. My favorite part of this is Pau's speech after *The Pretender.* Finding your life's goal at 8, 11, and 13 is scary cool. YES, they spoke it into existence and practiced the hell out of it. They understand the process of manifesting their dreams. These early shows are really cool because they show the progress all the way. Pau's drumming on *Exterminated* is next-level stuff.

There is nothing for me to add here. Everything the commenters have said is on point, perfect actually, but I do want to recognize what Mrs. Realistic said. Your commentary throughout the video is perfect. I could not have added anything or said it any better. I too had privileged friends that took their lives and parents for granted, and never realized how lucky they were. My family struggled. My mother was a single mom working two jobs to provide for myself, and my two younger siblings. I would have given anything to have an Atari (now I'm aging myself), much less a guitar. Part of me is living through these young ladies, and their dream. I am a proud life-long fan of The Warning, and so proud of their accomplishments thus far. More so, I am even prouder of Dany, Pau, and Alé, the human beings. They are world-class role models, and I have no doubt that someday a little girl and boy will pickup a guitar or sit down at the drums and follow their dream because of them. Thank you ladies for breathing life back into the music I enjoy the most. ⚡️🤘⚡️

As I watch this video probably for the tenth time or more, along with the second Ted Talk, Alé is more animated. In later interviews, she's more reserved as she got older. Out of the three of them Alé, of course, has changed the most growing taller than both of her sisters. Dany has changed a little, but Pau, even though she's older now, looks exactly the same. Same fierceness, same look coming from behind her kit.

Exterminated has that metal sound from the 80s. They consistently get mixed up as a metal band, even to this day, but they're just playing hard rock. Even at this young, they played crossovers that 30 years earlier would've made them metal gods, and that wasn't their thing. It's a weird world we live in, but thankfully we have them to keep hard rock/old school metal, alive. ❤️⚡🤘 Loved the reaction as always!

Having grown up with Led Zeppelin, The Who, Supertramp, etc, the importance of drums in rock music was possibly at its greatest time ever. There is a Zeppelin song, one of their maybe 7 minute varieties, where Bonham never repeats the same pattern in any one chorus, or even within each individual chorus. In the 80s, they became exactly what you said - just a backing rhythm. But not with these girls, and IMO, despite all of their other amazing talents, their use of drums as an equal instrument sets them aside from almost anyone else in rock music today!
