It's about time we got a real-life person arranging the wedding! Enough of the $$ snobs who want their daughters to look like a bedtime story "princess" who's content to sit on her throne and never get her hands dirty. Anita doesn't seem to realize that Becky has a playful side to her - that's one of the reasons she and Ryan are so suited to each other. They can be decisive and organized when a situation calls for it and then can turn playful and adventurous when given a chance. I can completely see Becky in the role of a country bride. Mom Anita needs to wake up and realize that this is Becky's and Ryan's day and if they want their memories to include riding a horse to the ceremony and enjoying a good old down home country BBQ then that's what they should go for. Maybe by the time this is over, Anita will realize that Becky has another side to her that Anita has never allowed to come forward.

Down to earth people are the absolute best people. A lot of what's going on here on this show is drama they give them to add to it all, for some reason tv series of this type just believe that the audience must be able to see some kind of drama to keep them interested in the show, I personally think I'd like the show if it were all just the people being their real selves.

Husband is a little too meek for me. Ann looked gorgeous. Bride’s Mom looked gorgeous. I did not like the white table clothes with the eggplant and chocolate. A pale gold may have shown better. Def. not the white too stark. Bride’s dress was very pretty on her. I planned my daughter’s wedding in a little over two weeks! She found a venue that she liked which had a cancellation and the wedding had to take place in like 17 days. I rented plants and bought candles and moved them from the terrace isle to the banquet tables after the ceremony. I Had twinkling lights with rented trees. Perfect. 3:00 to around 7:00pm on a Sunday. Bar, served early dinner, DJ and lots of dancing. It was lovely.

Agree!! I think if she's really starting a business, she will find out very quickly that she's not providing the product that most people expect. I have a friend who went into cake decorating out of her home. She has to spend a ridiculous amount of time sometimes, getting the exact look that the customer wants. The only place she would be able to sell cupcakes that look like the ones made by this bride, would be to little kids' birthday parties.

I don't think men have no say in their relationship; I think it's more the wedding that they don't have much say in and that's because a) most men don't give a crap about dresses, dinners or decorating. They'd get married in the middle of their favorite fishing pond if they could!! b) Most girls grow up dreaming of the perfect wedding. You see little 4 year old girls dressing their dolls up in napkins or pieces of scrap lace from their mother's sewing stash. They already understand the concept of "beauty" and how important it is to most women to "look fantastic" on their wedding day.

I think on the first one the daughter was mean to her own mother just by making the comment that she did not like the vale on or earrings so the world could hear. He mother wanted some say. The grooms mother was pushing everything glad she is not my daughter
