One thing that is extremely shitty is the fact that the dude in the grey shirt with the sweatpants is calling Esfand a simp for telling Melena that Minx can't drink alcohol as her pills could turn lethal and Melena for doing that in the first place.

Trying to keep things from getting too heavy can be a lot harder in some public situations (like, for instance, during a massive livestream where you don't want to make the vibes awkward in front of thousands of people) than a lot of people realize. This was, in MY opinion, just someone trying and failing miserably to stop that from happening, not realizing that this wasn't the right time and place to deflect with humor.

She is a person who got into a bad habit, developed a severe addiction, and she needs a good and strict support system that will be there for her. I had serval in mine as well. And the sad truth is once you reach a state of addiction, especially to a fanous boundry lifting drug such as alcohol all your fun party life is over. Either you stay sober and miss so many events, or you just lose control at a certain level of intoxication where your addiction makes you consume more and more. In dome cases like hers mixed with alot if unconzrolled wild behavior and potentially agression if the substance you desire is denied. That's just the sad truth. Either you learn to drink responsibly as early as possible, or you fk up your entire young party life.

This isnt party drinking hun. Ever been on a 3 fifths a day diet? Its what they call the chronically depressed people in rehab. Look, the type of drinking that girl up there is doing isnt "party" or in any way "fun". Its horrific and it hurts. And I mean HURTS. Like your skin is on fire. The only thing worse? Detoxing, which happens within hour and you spike a MASSIVE fever as your body dumps all its excess sugar and you go into temporary "diabetic shock"(you cant burn sugar with that much alcohol in your blood). You shake so bad you cant stand or hold anything. Then, if you did it long enough, the absolutely MASSIVE seizures happen. Its insane like your arms and legs just get their own minds. I didnt drink at ALL as a teenager/young adult. Took a shot after some massive life changing shit and within a month was up to 3 fifths a day. 1 fifth for chugging, another or so to make sure the second that shit starts taping Ill have something to chug on. Also, detox will kill you faster than the alcohol. Little know fact is more than half of the deaths from alcohol(driving/OD) are literally detox death. Its the only drug you can die from same day due to detox and one of 2 that kills. Opiate/meth/ketamine users dont die from detox they just hurt awhile. @@TrafalgarWaterDLaw-dl5cm

@@spoons250 I never called her addiction driven overconsumption party drinking? Quiet the opposite. But also there is levels to this. There is also base levrels of tolerance, and built up tolerance overtime. Besides there is a big diffrence between responsible drinking. And blackout drinking. Not to mention actions around it like eating well before you head out. What you describe is the most extreme of cases, but i can tell you as some8ne who has been to serval concerts and Rock festivals that its not as universal as youd think. Yes alcohol is always bad, but to get to that levels of a reaction serval factors need to be met. And in my personal circle i knew heavy alcoholics that drank up to serval bottles of pure booze. Passed out and were fine the next day. Just because the body grew that tolerant over many years. In this case its booth about addiction, the personal tolerance and inability to limit consumption. Plus one of the negative drunk personalities wich is very destructive and chaotic. It was doomed from the start. An alcoholic cannot stand sober on a crazy party full of alcohol. Nor stop drinking with all the aviability unless somebody steps in. We also dont know how far her addiction is. Nor how big her tollerance.

She’s not ready for treatment yet. The end said it all. When she said she knows it sounds borderline alcoholic that she needs to know when to stop drinking at parties, no, that IS alcoholic. She doesn’t realize she already is an alcoholic. I hope she gets to her rock bottom sooner rather then later so she can actually utilize the treatment she gets and live a long happy and healthy life. My best friend of 20 years is currently dying in the hospital because of alcohol. I had a kid and grew out of the drinking phase, meanwhile we fell out of touch and he kept drinking. He was a functioning alcoholic, always held down a job and could just hang out like the rest of us. It was when he was alone at home, depressed that he would take shot after shot until he fell asleep. He fell at work a few months ago, while getting that issue resolved they discovered he is in liver failure. He immediately quit drinking, going into withdrawals and not telling anyone. A few weeks of no drinking he continued to get sicker and sicker until almost 2 weeks ago his mom brings him to the ER bc he’s acting off, couldn’t even open the car door. By the end of the day he was on life support. His liver was done, he needed a transplant ASAP. They need to transfer him an hour away but don’t think he’ll make the trip, his parents let them do it and he hung on. His kidneys were quick to fail though too, now he needs one of those. He got put on the transplant list for maybe a day, maybe not even 24 hours, bc once his kidneys gave out too they had to remove him from the liver list. He’s too sick, won’t survive the surgery and is on life support. His parents sign a DNR and we all wait for the worst. Just 2 days ago they tried to take him off the vent, and he is breathing on his own. We don’t know why, the drs don’t know why he’s not dead yet, but alcohol absolutely put him there. This is what the future will be for Minx if she doesn’t quit now. The damage she’s already done is probably big, but the liver can heal. She isn’t too old, she’s still young and can turn her life around. Any of you can. It’s never too late to quit as long as you’re breathing.

Right now she can pretend and deny. But the moment she admits she needs help, she's going to collapse in on herself. False bravado is the only thing keeping her together. The moment I finally realized I was nowhere near as strong as I thought, it ended with me overdosing on medication and trying to end myself. I’m really worried for her-alcohol and seizures can be a deadly combination. Here’s to hoping she gets some help and begins to recover :)

This is sad to see, had a female roommate who had serious alcohol problems and it looked a lot like this. The unpredictability was the worst. She continues to ruin relationships with everyone close to her. Would go to parties and would act a fool to the point where I'd have to pick her up. I don't wish alcoholism on my worst enemies. Sad it has to happen to publicly.

Minx definitely got shunned by her "friends" when her alcohol problem got bad which sucks. The only people who ever were actually tolerant of her and tried were Schlatt, Esfand, Asmon, and a few others. She was obviously mentally ill, addicted and hurt. Alot of the people who "Supported her" just told her to go to rehab and were never there for her, this could have been so much different if there wasnt a layer of toxicity in her "friendgroup". "We tried everything" No, you sent her to rehab and shunned her because you were embarrassed. I have friends and family who have struggled just like Minx and with help and support they get better. But all Minx got was help, never support.

Hey man, this is a great video. Just one thing tho, in some places where the music is really loud (like around 9:30 for example), I can't hear what you say, and it's harder to understand bc I'm not a native speaker & there's no subtitle available. I would love to understand the video as a whole so would appreciate if you could make it more accessible. Ty!

I agree, not trying to be a hater but this video is hard to follow, the background "sad music" is over done and too loud and unnecessary. took me out of it.

By the way, if you wanted to know what that said, that streamer was being called a simp for wanting Minx to be safe and not be much of an alcoholic and that streamer was defending himself saying "I'm not a simp."

At 9:30 it seems just be arguing and the guy saying “it’s not simpng” (whatever ever that means), then it moves on.

Schlatt was deadass silent in that clip. Completely dead. The dude who jokes about everything under the sun had nothing for this one. That’s how you know it was fucked.

In the clip at 9:00 even schlatt looks worried for his friend. I’m glad she’s at least getting help now
