This information is very good. Uganda has got talent 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾. I was informed that Ugandans don’t make money on TikTok due to the government. I will always tell people to join TikTok and KZbin in Uganda but I always hear something different. The truth is that what I hear a lot is that people don’t want to show their face. They want privacy and that the government will not allow them to receive the money but I’m grateful for this video because Gracie Dee is sharing her experience. Thank you for sharing 🤗👏🏾. God bless you 🙏🏿
@Gracie-Dee8 ай бұрын
That's the problem, people blame the government for their own ignorance, with people not wanting to show their faces, it's okay for personal reasons, but people that are confident and outspoken that helps alot, but there's no excuse for people not seeking out these opportunities, government doesn't regulate tiktok in Uganda, you do your thing but thank you for putting this one out here❤

She has real hit on the point why I prefer watching Kenyan online content to that of my own people in Uganda(they're more interested in gossips/wolokoso, politics , discussing people instead of ideas, insulting others instead of supporting them). Lawrence kindly allow me take u as an example, try to do something good that's to say a charitable work here in Uganda, you gonna trend only among the people you helped plus your subscribers but let something wrong happen to you for example you are attacked & some of your properties are taken, there you gonna trend on all social media platforms in the country and you may find out that 90% of the people are hitting back with discouraging comments(adding salt to the wound). In conclusion, Ugandans we are unkind & less supportive to our fellows compared to other countries like Kenya which has very many content creators but it's rare to find someone discussing about another one's content unless he/she hosts that very person like the way you hosted her & imagine if most of us had her mindset.

We like the message you young Ugandans spreading but unless we address the high level of immorality (Esp Young Girls) and hate crime being peddled through Tick-tok, then we shall be earning a living from it (a few) but at a very huge cost on the morals and societal existence. Bigger economies (India) have banned Tick-tok and US is on course to do the same (In their Senate for debate). Huge encouragement for the youth using it for the right purpose but; it's high time the government strongly regulate it !
@Gracie-Dee8 ай бұрын
Yes , Internet can either add something to you or drain you. And definitely if used right, this tool can elevate a lot of young people! I stand on the bright and right side of the app and trust me its so tough to stand the impunity that goes on there, because immorality definitely pulls a lot of traffic too, personally I make my own rules and those that values what I stand for will always meet me on the way. But definitely the app needs strong regulation,

Why do we often refer to members of our group by color (black, even though we are various shades of brown) yet don't refer to other groups by color?

They follow this girl on tik-tok but does she return the favor oba she grows alone. It's annoying finding a person with 10k followers and when you check how much they follow from followers is less than a half the followers. That's being mean.
