That right throttle cover bolt I soaked it overnight withpanther piss hit it the next day with a hammer three or four times put some good pressure on it it cracked loose

Fucking stripped the screws on the throttle housing on a brand new 2023🤯😡what's going on with this, Honda are usually rock solid when it comes to build quality. I've had the little 50 we have apart and back together more times than i care to mention. Not happy, had to drill out the throttle housing and it gauged and marked the whole unit. Very pissed. Love the bills system you have on her btw. Very nice, looks rad too. I wanted the same bars but they wouldn't fit because of the wide clamp. What company did you use for the triple clamp and how much was it? Cheers.

Yea i was just as surprised I’ve never seen that before especially on a bike with 0 hours, i bought a new JIS and went to do my other buddies and the same damn thing happened, but thanks man! And it’s a Coppin Sting triple that’s exactly why i went with it

Update. Screw came right out (lazy and let the Krooil sit for two days). Now I have my new bars and extended controls. I feel like a real man braaaping around town on my 110.

Just installed mine on my 23 110 and for some reason my throttle keeps sticking and returns very slowly when i twist it. Running odi v2 grips with the correct cam. Not sure what’s going on

Tighten both of the throttle cable adjusters all the way in and it should looses up, then slowly back out the back one until it starts to stick again. Just before that is where you want it

What is the correct cam? I love odi’s rogue and discovered they had a mx v2 for bike throttles. Dying to have them, but since they come preinstalled on a plastic throttle tube, which cam fits the 22-23 crf 110 throttle cable? Have considered crf 125 throttle cable but cant figure a cam out for it yet either.

@@asnyd did you use cam r ? I did mine two months ago never had a issue snaps right back . Just had to adjust the throttle cable a bit

I cannot figure out how to get this throttle cable to go into the housing the right way. I’ve been dealing with it for hours and i just can’t get it go in right and once it does go in then the housing moves with the tube

Make sure one goes over the top and one goes below, put the nugget thing in the hole and then the cables into the slot. Clamp the housing over them then you should be able to screw it together, make sure it’s completely flush to get it to lock

Seems pretty long. Are the stock cables not long enough for the tall handle bars? With them being that much longer almost feels like overkill are they even needed

They’re 100% needed it won’t reach your throttle tube without them but you can get shorter ones not all of them are this long

Yea i know i forgot to film it there’s just two nuts at the bottom of the cable just loosen them all the way and you can slip it out of the mount

Yessir your upper tensioner bolts on the throttle housing are too tight or your throttle tube is pushed too hard against the bars, mine and my buddies both did this

How did you drill the screw out?

Drill out the center with a small drill bit and use an easy out bit to get her out

My shit only sticks when my bars are turned to the right i dont get it. Any other time it snaps back

Your throttle cable is too short and when you turn your bars it’s pulling the cable, try rerouting it if you can

@@theburbss they’re the fresh extended bbr extended cables. I rerouted two different ways. I notice if I take the throttle off the bars and hold it straight in front of the bike it’s snappy. Soon as I put it on my bars it gets stuck, also 0 play in the throttle when on bars even if I’m screwed all the way in or out there isn’t a difference. I’m thinking cable issue?

@@asnyd so there’s two things you can try first double check that the two nuts are threaded all the way up on the end by your throttle body and then try moving your entire throttle housing and tube like a quarter of an inch away from the end of the bars, my cables were too long causing the throttle to jam up but once i moved it off of the bar end it free’d it up, if that doesn’t work it probably a cable issue

@@asnyd also lube your cable with some wd40 or and lubricating oil just hold it up and spray a good amount down the line

@@theburbss im thinking it’s the routing somehow even though I feel like I’ve tried very possible configuration only because the tension is INSANE. Also the nut for the acceleration cable by the throttle body won’t go passed finger tight. Just keeps spinning, do you think that would even make a difference
