If you get a chance can you do a video about the f150 electronic throttle body? Preferably the 2015+ because I'm scared to touch mine. I don't know if there's there's relearn procedure after I move the throttle plate or after it's cleaned. Dealer wants 200 dollars just to do it.

I did this relocation fuse, changed fuel pump, changed fuel driver module and still no fix for me😢. Truck cranks over but not start

@@spencerwest2874for me it was the crankshaft position sensor and plug, if faulty it can prevent the fuel injectors to work.

Thanks FBM! I watched your recent video discussing the 2 things that can stop a 09-14 F-150. While I'm more than capable of making this modification myself, the VA state inspection on the truck is due this month. While I normally add gravy job lines to the repair order along with the inspection (I call it "putting meat on the bone), I think I'll ask the dealership I take my vehicles to make this modification (customer pay).

Thanks for sharing. Turns out this is why the truck was running rough as well as the evap canister being gunked up. Truck purring like a kitten now. Also, the instructions state to splice the blue/red wires together… but show two blue/red wires being spliced. 🤪 Was heavy confused, double, triple checking and tracing wires, Googling stuff. Wasn’t hard, just confusing. 🤪😅 Also held off from installing a Dorma fuel pump drive module after seeing your other video. Waiting on an OE one coming.

Had one come into the shop and we were busy as hell so of course I checked fuel pressure and it had none so I checked power to the fuse and relay (both were powered up and working like they should) so I sold fuel pump and installed it , truck cranked great for about a week or two and then it came back in with same problem and we were slow so I took the time to do more checking into the problem like I should have but I ran across this issue and read up on it so I checked it and even though I had power to fuse and relay I had none at the pump so I did this repair and the truck has been running great and hasn't Ben back. Thanks man

i know i can be critical of newer vehicle cost cutting measures.but after building vehicles for a century.this is a problem that is forgi vable.as opposed to the axle tube failures of the f350's.i still believe long term testing would've revealed alot of issues that unfortunately made it into production.then you guys have to deal with it instead of dearborn engineers.i realize they find the solutions, but you guys have to do the work to implement them.

I have a question, the dealer told me my fuel pump has a crack in it causing an code for p0442 small evap leak. They can’t find any other leaks, would that issue cause that code?

The fuel pump doesn't have a crack in it causing that code you're talkin about the charcoal canister or the carbon canister

Most of the time it's a purge valve or it's a fuel cap

@@FordBossMe they’ve replaced the charcoal canister and filler neck. It’s the capless one. The purge valve was also replaced, this has just been a nightmare
