Tutorial worked and I got a good result but man was that hard to follow. U need to explain what you're clicking and sometimes why. Like u will click 4 different effects without saying anything

Hey Nixus Lynxi, Ive noticed from the seconds, 6.34 to 6.35 The extrusion bit goes and the texture comes up how did you change it from Extrusion model to bevel 1, thanks in advance :)

Video copilot is a company that make plugins for after effects, you need to install element 3d like I said in the description and in the video :P

When I get my text where I want it and play out the cinematic, it starts at a different spot and moves, like its not stuck right on the object or wall i want it

Then it probably isnt in the position that you think it is, you need to make sure you make a null somewhere near where you want the text so that its a pretty straight forward copy position and move slightly. Just try to change the position and see if it helps, move around the time line to make sure its in the right spot

yes you need to autotrace the logo png in after effects and use that masked layer as a custom text/mask. then when you hit extrude and choose the custom layer it will show in 3d scene setup.

might just be an issue with your scene, if there's not a lot of things to track throughout the video it won't look as good, having a video with lots of small anchor points in it like patterns on the floor and walls works best

sorry but the commentary was awful on this. you clearly dont wanna be there. theres a lot of stuff you miss out but do anyway such as hiding a layer without telling us then unhiding it? you literally dont mention how you have to have stuff installed or fx or how to do certain stuff. its helpful for the basis but realistically you just dont wanna be there

I would be pretty worried if you didn't know how to hide a layer, also im pretty sure I went over everything I needed to go over. Everyone has different textures and stuff that they want to use so why would I go into how I got my ones.
